My most special plush is starting to get damaged.

He has a sewn on collar that is starting to bend, and I'm worried it'll break off. It's like plastic or fake leather. I'm not 100% sure.

It's a bit upsetting.

I wonder if I should stop cuddling him and maybe make him a display only plush...? Because I know if his collar breaks off it'll be really upsetting to me.

I've considered getting a second one of him just in case, but I don't have the money. (I got him for $8 originally, so idk how much another one would be now)

I figured I could hold the second one and keep the original as display only? It won't be the same as hugging the original but I figured it's better than nothing...

I actually haven't held this plush recently bc I'm so afraid of his collar breaking off! It's been tough.

I got the wolf section of my plushie wiki completed!!!!

All 9 of my wolf plushies now have their own finished profiles. This includes reference images, basic information, and more!

I've worked hard on this section the past two days so I'm glad to finally see it done.

hi! i am going through a bad time and i love plushies. can you talk about how they comfort you during tough times? sometimes hearing people talk about it gives me second hand comfort too

Hi, I'm sorry you're going through a bad time :( I'll do my best to talk about how plushies comfort me though!

Petting a soft plushie is comforting to me sometimes! The soft texture is nice and the repetitive action of petting it helps me calm down.

I also really like to hold my plushies' hands/paws! Especially if they have beans in them. This is really comforting to me! I can fidget with their paws too which helps even more.

When I'm feeling really extra bad, I have a weighted plushie that works wonders. I just lay down on my back and put it on my chest! The weight helps ground me I think? It's really comforting, almost like a hug... But better! I'm not a fan of real hugs tbh.

Sometimes even just existing in the same room as my plushies can be comforting. :) I can look around and see them, and know that they are there for me no matter what!!

My plushies really help comfort me a lot!

Sometimes I like to sit quietly and hold a plush. I know the plush won't get mad at me for being silent! So I can just sit there and hold them for a while, and that can be comforting too.

I also like to think about my plushies, and how we are friends, and that they love me no matter what!! It can be pretty comforting to remember that you are loved.

If it was up to me, I'd carry a plushie around everywhere!! They are super comforting and helpful.

I hope things get better for you soon. And I'm sorry if this doesn't make much sense! I tried my best lol
