Am absolutely fucking outraged that paramount took over cbc last year and is now CUTTING cbc radio entirely, which is a Canadian broadcast that’s been on for literally the last 100 years.

CBC radio 2 is my favourite station to turn on, it’s exposed me to countless songs, artists, and stories that have stuck with me after years and years of listening. I know almost all its stations to tune in on throughout Ontario when I lose signal on another. It’s brought me joy, knowledge, curiosity, inspiration, and so much more.

I know it’s like, just a radio station but it doesn’t feel that way right now and I’m genuinely so sad it won’t be around. It is, and has been a really big part of my life.

Thank you to all the hosts, producers, and everyone involved in each show. I’ve enjoyed them so much over the years and I can’t stress enough how much your work will be missed.
