Happiness (2021) Review
If you like shows like All of Us Are Dead and Sweet Home, I definitely recommend giving Happiness a try. š¤
Happiness is a Korean drama that came out in 2021. The story follows two longtime friends who enter a contract marriage just so they can move into a new apartment. Sounds pretty simple, right? Well... everything changes when a mysterious virus starts spreading through the building, trapping everyone inside.
Now, here's the thing. This isn't just your regular zombie drama. It's so much more than that. Yes, there are infected people, but the real story is about survival, trust, and seeing how people act when they're pushed to their limits. Sometimes, the people are honestly scarier than the infected. š
I also have to talk about the chemistry between the two main leads because... wow. I honestly didn't expect it to be that good, but it was. There isn't a bunch of unnecessary romance, either. There's just enough to make everything feel natural without taking away from the main story.
ā Would I recommend it?
100% yes.
If you're looking for a drama that's going to keep you stressed every single episode while still making you care about the characters, this is definitely the one. I seriously couldn't stop watching.
šæ Have you watched Happiness yet? And be honest... who stressed you out more, the infected or the people? š (No spoilers, please! š¤)
