I am welcome to asks from other vsmp rp blogs and anons, just make sure it stays pg, not nsfw or suggestive stuff no cursing. Angst in universe is fine but venting is not for this place, as Pearl isn’t a therapist.

I will interact with other VSMP rp blogs, so if you are seeing this and have one I am warning you.

When ooc I’m like This! Hi I’m Solar, They/Them, this is my 4th rp blog and second Pearl rp blog. Got stuck with vampires smp in my brain.

She flashes a smile and takes a step back

"Just popping in to let you know that Cleo sorta kinda invited me to live with you two"

[Pearl was in the middle of fixing a sign outside her house when Medea appeared. She yelped slightly but calmed down after a moment.]

“You can’t just sneak up on people like that!”

[She doesn’t seem too upset with Medea despite this. When hearing Cleo invited Medea to live with them, they make a slightly confused noise.]

“How did you convince Cleo of all people to let you live with us? And why didn’t she tell me?!”

"Yes I CAN sneak up on people like that, I just did! And I don't think Cleo has had a chance to tell you yet since I just came here after that conversation. As for WHY, well, I miiiiiiiight've talked about being lonely a bit too much and she felt bad for me"

[Pearl just sighs. She does seem to be a bit relieved knowing that Cleo wasn’t purposely holding back information.]

”Why are you still here? The beacons aren’t binding anyone here anymore, you can leave if you so wish. I expected everyone to leave. Well, everyone who was still alive…”

[She looks down. After a moment, she speaks again.]

“Anyways, are you gonna set up your bedroom or do I have to do it myself?”

"Oh, the beacons aren't what's holding me here. And I haven't even decided if I'm staying in the castle or not, I don't want to impose on your lovely life with Cleo and Oscar. I'll probably just end up back in the woods, but I'll think about it"

She keeps that smile plastered on her face, not quite genuine but enough to keep up appearances

[Pearl’s smile turns into a genuine curiosity.]

“Hey, are you a vampire? I was just thinking, because of the ears.”

[She looked at Medea, still smiling innocently while asking.]

"Pffft, no, I'm not a vampire. I like to think I'm not pale enough to pass as one. No no, I'm a fae."

She gives a little twirl causing her skirt to fly out slightly for a brief moment

[She gasps slightly. Then she grins.]

“That’s cool! Do you have, like, fae magic? Like in the stories with the name things? Did I already give you my name?”

[She didn’t look scared, instead just fascinated and excited.]

"Yes I have fae magic, yes I can do the name thing, and no you haven't given me your name. Though I've been...encouraged, to not bother you in that regard. I can shape shift a little bit, make fairy circles, and talk to animals. Oscar says hi by the way. Then there's the name thing, haven't managed to actually pull it off yet but maybe one day. There are a few...drawbacks, however"

[Pearl tilts her head at that last part, slightly reminiscent of a dog.]

“Hm? What are those drawbacks?”

[She looked slightly concerned.]

"I can't touch iron in the way a vampire can't touch silver, and I can't tell a direct lie. And I have to obey fae laws...or at least I'm SUPPOSED to do that. I'm technically breaking that by talking to you"

”Are you going to get in trouble for talking to me?”

[She looked downwards, a but upset at the thought.]

“You’ll be okay, right? I can’t have my new friend dying that quickly, Cleo would be upset.”

"Nah, I'll only get in trouble if I get caught, and those cowards never leave the fae realm so as long as I stay out here- did you just say friend?"

She sounds genuinely surprised, stopping her rant mid sentence to stare at Pearl, her fake smile finally dropping in favor of a slightly shocked and confused expression

“Yeah! Is that not okay? I consider you my friend.”

[She was smiling and chuckling lightly.]

“Is there a fae law that stops you from having friends?”

[She was still grinng.]

"No, no, I just...I'm not used to that sort of thing. I don't talk to people that often and whenever I do the interactions tend to be...a tad hostile since most of the time they're calling me out for people watching."

She looks away for a moment before turning back

"I don't know much about the social customs in this world, and I don't think I've ever had a "friend" in the normal sense...but I'd like to, if that's okay"

“Well, wether you like it or not, your stuck with me!”

[She takes one of Medea’s hands, pulls Medea close and hugs her.]

Her eyes go wide in shock, she flinches at first but then goes still

"Um, what is this? What am I supposed to do?"

She wraps her arms around Pearl and squeezes her tight

She finally lets herself relax, allowing the tenseness in her muscles to dissipate while she enjoys the hug

“When we first met, did I give you my name accidentally? If so, what does that mean for me?”

"Don't worry, you didn't. You never actually told me your name, and I don't think I've told you mine. I just learned yours from...uh...people watching."

She looks to the side to avoid eye contact

"sorry about that. But when a fae gets someone's name...it doesn't typically go well for that person."

”I’ve heard. Well, I do have to leave now. I wanted to plant some flowers at the town today, to maybe make it feel alive.”

[She releases Medea from the hug, backing up and about to walk away.]
