Hey guys! First off I need to apologize. I have completely let people down because I entirely forgot about the iPod giveaway from the DBSA Livestream. It’s been chaotic the past 6 months but that’s no excuse when it comes to ensuring the trust between you and me. I will be working to make this right by getting the iPods into the winners hands as soon as possible plus an extra bonus for the extended wait. They’ve literally been sitting in storage collecting dust so there’s no other reason than neglect that they haven’t gone out the door.

I’m very sorry that this happened and I’m sorry again to those who felt like they were ignored this whole time waiting. I really do appreciate every bit of trust you guys give me and I need to ensure that trust is properly earned.

An appology

So recently I posted a video playing Bear Simulator. I was very harsh and critical about the game, mainly because I was expecting more out of it. 

 I realize that I did this on the expense of the developers work, who recently posted about being discouraged after the feedback from the game. 

 I overdo the Pewdiepie character sometimes and add extra things for the sake of entertainment. But I think a lot of my fans misunderstood that and joined in to add more weight on the developer.

 This was obviously never my intension and I’m not here to spread hate and discourage other people’s work. So in case you read this, I just wanted to say I’m sorry and please don’t stop doing your work. 

I’m taking the video down in hopes of making things right and will be more mindful of future videos.

Very respectful! Not many people would even own up to that or take the video down so props for that.

I don’t think you need to apologise TOO much however, the game is a bit all over the place and feels like a cash in on the “simulator” trend so some criticism is warranted, after all constructive criticism can make things better. It can go a bit overboard and maybe fans jumping on the bandwagon is a bit over the top though because a mob can be vicious and say incredibly hurtful things. Things also have a tendency to get personal in hate mobs like that which is totally unnecessary. 

Ditching development altogether because of negative feedback is a bit unfair to the people who like the game and backed it on kickstarter, there were plenty of people who really liked the game and it should be made for THEM not ditched because of haters. It would be like if you or I stopped doing youtube because some people didn’t like our videos. It can get overwhelming to have a lot of hate thrown at you at once but if you really believe in your work then you should stick to it and try to push through. There will always be shitlords on the internet to dog pile on something, there will always be those out there trying to tear you down. 

When you create something you have to do it because you LOVE doing it, not to try and please people. That’s a fruitless endeavor because you will never please them all. The search for validation is a very human thing but chasing that is a pursuit into madness, enjoy yourself and the right people will follow along and enjoy with you.
