Richie's mind: ah, there comes Eddie. Love of my life, sweetheart,my Spaghetti, my baby, my sweetie, sugarcube
Richie out loud: "I fucked your mom last night"
Eddie:*walks downstairs and sees Richie at the kitchen table with coffee in his hand*
Eddie: have you stayed awake for the whole night???
Richie: *takes a sip* I've been awake for 72 hours
Richie: I am the prettiest rainbow! Eheh... I'm dead inside
ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT THIS AIN'T RICHIE TOZIER (it's young Joey Rooney from Liv and Maddie)
Eddie: Bev, Richie just asked me to go to his friends wedding as his date to avoid the 'are you seeing someone' questions
Bev: I've red enough fanfictions to know that this will end up with you two confessing your dying love for each other
Richie: if it's one or a thousand sins, you're still going to Hell. So why not go for a million sins and come there like a legend
Eddie: yo what the fuck
Lmao I got purposely misgendered on Tik Tok 😔 two people bullied me
Eddie:*in an argument with Sonia*
Richie:*doing the wap in the background*
Has anyone seen that Tik Tok lmaoo
Pronouns aren't preferred. They're required. Don't misgender someone on purpose
I just kinda started writing... It sucks but... It exists now. So yeah, I wrote this after watching Enola Holmes and uhm... yes. This took me almost two hours I think. Have fun reading it I guess. It was pretty fun to write, actually. So here you go, have a little story.
Note; I AM NOT ENGLISH PLEASE DON'T BLAME ME FOR BAD GRAMMAR I AM REALLY TRYING MY BEST people have corrected me in the most rude ways it's not my fault. Try learning a second language before you judge me. thank you 💕
TW: mentions of death, running away
Eddie grabbed his stuff, it was three in the morning. The moon was shining brightly through the open window, chills went down his spine. he was fully dressed, and quickly throwing clothes in his suitcase. He had to leave.
Tears rolled down his cheeks, he ignored them and wiped them away rather quickly. They were almost unstoppable. His father had just died, and Eddie overheard a conversation his mother had. With a stranger in his house, the woman appeared to be a headmistress. From a school. Eddie didn't wanted to go to school. He didn't liked it.
Though he wouldn't know. His father had educated him, thought him how to read. How to be reasonable, he had thought him everything. Yesterday morning had been terrible. He had woken up, ready to wake his father and mother up. Eddie walked into the room, in his white pajamas. Only to find his father, his eyes had been filled with emptyness. Nothing could safe him now. His mother was completely gone, and didn't returned until the afternoon.
He sighed softly and put his shoes on. Eddie grabbed the bag. He slowly sneaked downstairs, carefully taking steps. The stairs are creaky.
He wanted to leave right away, but something stopped him. His fathers office. Eddie turned his head slowly to the right, the door was closed. He stared at the door and walked to it. Again taking slow and careful steps. (Must not wake mother up).
He pushed the doorknob down, and opened the door. It went quiet, not a single sound was made as the door opened. Eddie peeked inside. It was pretty messy, papers lying around everywhere. He walked inside, and looked around. Eddie smiled softly when he saw a book, his fathers favourite.
A Study In Scarlet
Eddie slowly took it and put it in his bag. He looked around once again. As a child, Eddie was never allowed to be in here. He would stand just outside the door as a little kid, with big curious brown eyes, staring at his father and wondering what he was doing. But he was too shy to ask anything. And if he did, his father would always react with the very same answer.
(Not for your small ears, kiddo)
Eddie shook his head, he walked out of the office and went into the kitchen. He needed some money, of course. And after wandering around the house and discovering small places since he could walk, he knew his mother hid spare chance in the old teapot. Eddie grabbed a chair and put it against the cupboard. He and his father had always been short, they could never reach the top. Eddie slowly climbed on the chair, and stood on his toes to reach the top. He grabbed the teapot and opened it. Eddie looked in it. "I'm sorry mama" he whispered, right before he threw all the money in his bag. No time for sorting. He put the teapot back and climbed down. Eddie didn't took time to put the chair back on it's place by the table, instead he just walked straight to the door. He looked around for once last time, then he turned his back on the house for forever.
It was five in the morning when Eddie reached the train station. He had been here once before, but never alone. He looked around, several people were already hurrying for their next train and bumped into him. Eddie wasn't in a hurry, his mother usually woke up around nine. He still had four hours to get the hell out of here. He looked around and decided to pick a random train. In another station he could see where he was going, but not now. He wouldn't know.
Eddie bought a ticket and walked towards the train. The doors were open, and he stepped inside. The moment his feet touched the floor from the train, a heavy weight got lifted off his shoulders. He was free.
He walked around, but none of the compartments were empty. Eddie didn't felt like sitting with old people, they would ask questions. They usually did.
He finally stopped when he saw a single boy sitting alone. Eddie stared at him for a while, he had black long hair and was a bit... Weird. The boy... Talked to himself? Eddie tiltened his head to the side and frowned. He slowly opened the small door. The boy looked up and gave him the most beautiful smile. Eddie stared in the others eyes.
"mind if I sit here?" Asked Eddie. The boy nodded, then shook his head.
"yeah, no. Sure! Go ahead, I'd like some company" he said. He looked at Eddie and stared at his face. Eddie slowly walked inside and sat down with his bag between his feet. He stared at the black haired boy for a moment, in an uncomfortable silence.
"...what are you looking at?" Asked Eddie then, not really understanding or trusting the other.
the boy shrugged. "Just counting the tiny freckles around your nose, you got a lot you know" he said. Eddie looked down at his nose. He then looked back at the boy and put his hand over his nose. The boy chuckled.
"it's cute, don't worry. I'm Richie" he said as he hold out his hand. Eddie looked at Richie's hand. He nodded and slowly took it, shaking the other's hand.
"Eddie" said Eddie quietly. The boy smiled. "That's a beautiful name" he said. "You don't talk a lot, do you?"
Eddie shrugged, then he shook his head. "Not when it's not necessary, no" he answered. Richie smiled at him. He stood up and flopped down next to Eddie. Then he did something unexpected. Richie wrapped his arm around Eddie's shoulder and neck and pulled him close to his chest.
"hey! What the-"
Before Eddie could finish his sentence, Richie continued counting. He touched Eddie's freckles as he counted.
"twenty-two, twenty-three... Twenty-four..." Mumbled Richie. Eddie tried to get out of Richie's grip, but he was simply too strong. He leaned back against him after a while and closed his eyes. Eddie listened to Richie's voice, he felt Richie's fingertips on his face touching his little freckles. It felt soothing, calm. Relaxed. And before Eddie knew, he fell asleep in Richie's arms. Tired of being awake for so long, tired of all the stress his fathers death had caused. Eddie started snoring quietly, feeling safe in Richie's strong arms. Feeling Richie's bodywarmth, and his arms around him... It was just perfect.
"Eddie?"
Richie's voice sounded vague, like he was far away. Eddie frowned and slowly opened his eyes. He sat up. "Ohuh?" Asked Eddie quietly. He rubbed his eyes and looked at Richie. "How... How long did I slept?" Asked Eddie, a small slight blush spread around his cheeks as he realized he still laid against Richie. Richie shrugged. "Oh, we're close to the city. I was going to step off the train there, want to come?" He asked. Eddie nodded. He sat up slowly, but Richie grabbed his waist and pulled him back. "Come on, we have a little time" he whined, enjoying Eddie's company. Eddie pushed Richie off him.
"Do not fucking touch me" he said. Richie put his hands in the air.
"hey, calm down bunny. It's just me" he said. Eddie crossed his arms.
"how can I trust you? We just met" he muttered.
"excuse me? You slept against my chest for two hours!"
"well maybe you're just very comfy!" Yelled Eddie. Richie smirked. He stood up and grabbed his bag. Richie hold out his hand, Eddie sighed and took it. He picked his bag up and hold it in his arms. The train made a rough stop, pushing Eddie's small body out of balance. He fell against Richie, who immediately took advantage of the situation and wrapped his arms around him. Eddie leaned against Richie for a while, burying his face in Richie's neck. They stood still for a moment, until Eddie moved away from him. He took Richie's hand and smiled at him before he started to walk towards the exit. The doors opened, people walked out. Eddie followed the small group of people who stepped out of the train, as soon as he put his feet on the ground the same feeling of freedom overwhelmed his body. Eddie looked up at Richie, who looked around too. He smiled and looked down at Eddie.
"why did you ran away?" Asked Eddie. It was obvious Richie did, they were both barely twenty years old. Richie shrugged. "My full name is Richard Tozier." He said. "I was tired of responsibilities, wanted to start something new. You know the story" he said. Eddie looked down, he had already heard that name somewhere. He just... Couldn't decide where. Eddie nodded, then it hit him. "𝘵𝘩𝘦 Richie Tozier?" He asked. Richie nodded.
"yep. That's me" he said. "In case you couldn't tell."
Eddie chuckled. "You need some new clothes, your majesty" he said. "people will know it's you when you walk around like that."Richie sighed.
"don't call me that, what's your last name?"
"Kaspbrak."
"Then from now on I shall be mr. Kaspbrak"
"You can't take my last name!"
Eddie chuckled and playfully pushed Richie's arm. Richie smiled, he took Eddie's hand gently. "Let's go, bunnyboy" he said. Eddie nodded and followed Richie, out of the train station. Into the city.
People running, black clothing, sad faces, dark clouds threatening the city with rain. Eddie had never seen something so full but also so sad at the same time. He didn't understood. These people should be happy! He shook his head and just followed Richie.
"where are we going?" He asked. Richie shrugged.
"to find an appartment. And we possibly need to find jobs, we can't live on my money all the time."
"I took some money with me" said Eddie, not really knowing how to even count money. He never used it before. Richie sighed. "It's not enough. We'll figure it out" he said. He hold Eddie's hand tight, like he was afraid to loose him. Eddie bit on his underlip, all the people looked the same. They all wore the same clothing, did the same things. What happened here? It all looked so... Miserable.
It didn't took them long before they found a place to stay for at least a while. Richie had paid for a small appartment, making sure they had a good one. He took Eddie upstairs and opened the door with the key. Eddie looked around, the window let the small amount of sunlight in. The walls were soft pink, there was a mirror across the bed. The sheets were white and covered in blue flowers. Eddie set his bag down on the bed. He kinda liked it, but there missed one thing...
"there is only one bed" said Eddie. He turned to Richie. Richie shrugged, he closed the door and dropped his bag. "Well, they didn't had anything else. You don't mind, do you?" He asked. Eddie looked at the bed, it would be big enough for both of them. What was the big deal? He shook his head slightly and climbed on the bed. Eddie opened his bag and took out the book, he let his fingers slide over the cover. Richie already began to unpack, setting his stuff down until he was satisfied. There was also only one bathroom, and no kitchen. Richie went into the bathroom, mumbling something about a quick shower. Eddie didn't listen, he put the book down on the bed and started to search through the bag for all the money he had. It wasn't much, but it was something. Eddie decided to put it in the book. He slowly put the book back in his bag and sat it down on the floor. Eddie lied down and stared at the ceiling, this was his life now. He smiled softly and closed his eyes.
He was woken out of his daydream by someone who jumped on the bed. Eddie opened his eyes when he felt arms grabbing him. He was pulled against the same cozy chest he had slept against in the train. Splashes from wet hair fell onto his face, and before he realized someone started to tickle his stomach.
He let out a laugh, and started laughing and giggling and chuckling even more. Eddie tried to push Richie's arms away, Richie was smiling like an idiot. He tried to hit Richie's arms, and turned around. Eddie grabbed Richie's shirt, like the boys there were they started to tease each other a bit and fought a bit. Eddie ended up under Richie, pinned down against the bed. Richie hovering above him, holding his wrist down. Small chuckles escaped from Eddie's mouth, he was panting heavily. He looked up at Richie. Richie slowly placed his hand on Eddie's cheek, he let his fingers slide down and traced them over Eddie's neck and collarbone. Eddie didn't do anything to push Richie's hand away. He liked his attention. It made him blush, it made him feel... Different. Happier.
Richie tugged a bit on Eddie's shirt. He smirked and looked at Eddie, then he slowly let him go. He took the boy in his arms and hold him tight.
"don't stand a chance against this muscle" said Richie. Eddie chuckled, he leaned against Richie and snuggled against him.
"no... Not yet"
The first night here was strange. They both slept in the same bed, Eddie in his white pajamas and Richie with only his underwear. Richie was snoring quietly, their backs turned to each other. Both facing the other way. Eddie looked at the wall, it was already dark. But he just... Couldn't sleep. Richie rolled a bit more to the other side, taking the blanket with him. Eddie growled softly, grabbing the blanket and pulling it back. He heard a small sound on the other side of the bed. The blanket was pulled back to Richie's side. Richie was awake. Eddie sighed and pulled it back to his side, and Richie pulled it back again. And so it went on, and on. They couldn't even share a single blanket. How will they ever be able to share a room together? Eddie turned around to say something, only to meet Richie's beautiful eyes. Richie smirked, he grabbed Eddie's wrist and looked at him. Eddie felt a bit scared, suddenly. For his feelings. He looked at Richie, the other moved closer to him and wrapped his arms around his small body. His hand resting on his hip and his back. Eddie smiled, he snuggled closer against Richie, who moved his hand to Eddie's lower back. Richie chuckled and even moved his hand a bit lower, but quickly moved it back when he felt Eddie slapping his back once.
"you're warned, Tozier"
Richie smiled. "Also goodnight, Ed's" he said softly in Eddie's ear. Eddie nuzzled his face in Richie's neck, he felt Richie's arms around him. Richie's bodywarmth to keep him warm during the night, he listened to Richie's calm breathing. Eddie smiled and closed his eyes, they both fell asleep in each others arms: peacefully and happy.
Eddie:*locks the car with Richie in it*
Richie: Ed's?! I think you locked the car! I'm still in it!
Eddie: act like a child get treated like a child
Richie: isn't it illegal to leave a child alone in the car??!!
We can relate to that, can we?
