I do not want to miss the opportunity of praising this guy. With all the pressure he had on his shoulders, he does an astounding job in ‘Hail to the King’. 

No one will ever replace Jimmy, we will always miss him (foREVer), but Arin has earned his place inside A7X and my heart. Hats off for him.

Avenged Sevenfold are done for me. They had their prime and now they’re done. Thing is, their new album’s not even close to being bad BUT in comparison to the last 5 albums they’ve put out across the last 8 years, it doesn’t even come close. I’m dissapointed but I guess every band makes changes...

I find it really distasteful that you think you can speak for the entire A7X family. We LOVE Avenged Sevenfold as they were, and as they are. Jimmy might be gone, but his soul lives on through their music. I hear the Rev all over this album -- in their heartache, in their strive, in every song. Jimmy impacted THEM more than he could have ever touched us. I think people forget that Jimmy meant more to our boys than anyone. His influence is still there and I believe it always will be, even if it's not in the way of him writing songs.

I'm so fucking proud of Matt, Zacky, Brian and Johnny. Especially Arin. He's filling some big shoes, taking a lot of shit from this fanbase, and he is STILL going. These men? They are my idols. They're my heroes. And fuck anyone who tries to speak otherwise for me, for us.
