Yes, online classes are more flexible & convenient than traditional classes. But at what cost? See the pros and cons of online classes before enrolling.
I found this and liked how it broke down all the pros and cons of both classrooms. It gives details about everything mentioned. One that stuck out to me was one of the cons to online classes. I did not consider how not all majors are available to be able to complete all classes online.

Now that there are options to take online classes that directly correlate to some jobs, the question now is do we need regular in class teaching. Employers are hiring people without degrees now more often and not seeing the relevance in a traditional university education. If they need training for the job most of them do online classes or in house training. I do agree that it is possible to get jobs without degrees these days. But one thing traditional college does do is it forces you to take more than just your major class requirements. Which opens you up to other skills just in case you may not decide to follow through with your major. The topic of this article is very unique and gives ideas for other colleges to consider. Instead of just going along with what was giving to the students for online work, these students chose to ask for more challenging work. They wanted life-long learning and critical thinking. The students communicated with teachers willing to listen to change the stereotype of online course not really teaching students. I think it is good they wanted to challenge the online teachings.
