Some of y’all are so far up Anne Rice’s butt that you won’t branch out and at least try and watch the new series when it comes out. Obviously you don’t have to watch anything you don’t want to, but completely writing it off as a flop because it’s not a remake of the movie or books without at least seeing it first, is dumb. Don’t watch it if you don’t think you’re going to like it but don’t shit on the actors that worked hard on it and are excited about what they’ve created. I for one really like that they are branching off of canon and changing things and making the story their own. We already have the books and the cruise/Pitt film, we don’t necessarily need another adaptation of the same story. That’s boring and this new series looks fun and different. Don’t be buzz kills for other people just because you aren’t excited for it.

I hate it when people say u need to learn the basics of art before u go into it...the true way to learn art is actually going directly to drawing what you like, then being so attached to it that you have to go back and learn the fundamentals in order to make the art of what you like better.
