Maybe america is ready for us...
toddler showing u stuff she found on th ground
do u think dennis is terrified of becoming older than his mother ever got
there's something in the fact that mac assumes that freddie mercury was 100% straight because he only perceives him as masculine and tough while dennis assumes that freddie mercury was 100% gay because he only perceives him as flamboyant and camp. neither of them recognise the nuance of his identity just like they don't recognise nuance in their own. mac can only be gay or a badass, not both. dennis can only be into women or in an openly sexual relationship with mac, not both.
This woman looking at Dennis like this while he has a breakdown is me
the crowd rating them higher when theyre flopping miserably and returning to see them flop even more. hey thats us.
two men entwined only by the walls that house us and the passage of time
you're 🫵 not 🙅♂️ getting this. 😡😖😩 we 👬 are not 😡❌ lovers. 👨❤️👨 we 👬 are simply 😌 roommates 🏳️🌈🛏️ you see. 👁️😒 its not 😤 so difficult 🧠🙄 to understand. 🤯 not 🙅♂️ so difficult 😞😠 at all. two 2️⃣ men 🕺🕺 entwined 👨❤️💋👨 only☝️😡 by the walls 🚪that house 🛋️🏠us 👨❤️👨and😮the passage 😔of time.⏰ that is all.☺️ nothing more.🙂 we are all classy, 💅 men 🧍♂️and women🧍♀️alike, 😍 but none 🙅♂️ more classy 💅🕺 than me.😏 refined 💎and dignified 👨💼 and not 😡😤the least bit 🤏 abnormal 🧛🏻♂️🏳️🌈 in any way. 😌
Dennis saying he doesn't feel anything again... when faced with the reality of his age, with the realization once again that young women don't actually turn him on, nor does he turn them on, the reminder of trauma from his own youth, but wanting (thinking he should want) the drama of teen years and trying to get back at someone the same way someone betrayed him when they were in highschool, with greater consequences he refuses to look at outside of a very rigid lens or framework because if he does, he'll probably fall apart. It was legal. I won't feel bad for any of this. I don't feel anything. (I feel too much)
rlly big year for people who take it’s always sunny in philadelphia too seriously
when frank slaps den in whacked pt. 2 and is like "don't talk back to me" and den's immediately like sorry... and then frank says "i don't wanna hit you, baby, so please don't make me" and dennis literally looks like a forlorn little boy as if he's remembering his childhood... hits different after the lore drop in the new episode. nobody talk to me.
dennis telling the gang 'obviously we are a family' and everyone nodding in agreement.............

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia - Succession style intro
in thought leadership, the scene where they discuss frank hitting dee as a child is an almost exact scene from succession (though tonally different). and I’m wondering if it was supposed to be a direct reference:
dennis brings it up (like kendall) and then mac and dee chime in (dee in a similarly self-deprecating way to roman), and then frank. ultimately though, dennis has the last word (in response to mac saying those were "better times") with an, "if you say so buddy, if you say so."
