Our brains are the most vulnerable during the heatwave, and overheating can lead to many dangerous conditions such as heatstroke. Be sure to wear a hat in direct sunlight. Do not dismiss any of these symptoms:
Dizziness
Unusual headache, throbbing one especially
Intense thirst and fatigue
Quick pulse even while resting
Disorientation
Beat the heat: staying safe in hot weather
For darlings who struggle with drinking water consistently, you may find this advice useful.
Drink from a smaller glass throughout the day. When faced with a large cup, we often feel overwhelmed and abandon it after just few sips. Our brains perceive the goal as too difficult and neglect it. While a smaller glass can give a quick, satisfying sense of accomplishment.
Oh, and dear ones, please let someone know when you are feeling unwell. Staying silent about how you are feeling is one of the riskiest things you can do. Even seemingly mild fatigue can quickly lead to fainting. Do not wait, speak up and take care of yourselves.
I discovered an unauthorized breach of my account, followed by suspicious alerts on my email and, ultimately, a very alarming message.
