All I know is:

Mark somehow survived what happened in Volume 1, and encounters the Bythorne Paranormal Society who basically let Mark in partly because he’s survived the paranormal(alternates) and partly because Sarah told Adam and Jonah to let him in(with Evelin helping to reason with them)

Thatcher is a main character still but doesn’t appear until a bit later

Also most importantly: Dave is basically Mark’s adopted uncle and has been for a while before the au(he didn’t meet Sarah)

His neck, arms, and legs always seem ‘broken’ but can look different

Also has a yellow tie he found and wears constantly

Doesn’t really care much for pronouns but favors He/It more

Jerry likes to intimidate victims before actually giving them M.A.D
