I think when you get to the bus terminal part of Karas story and the soldier returns Alice's glove that he knew you were androids, some sense in that man told him the group was androids. He knew that they were just trying to be free and that's why he let them through. I could also be completely wrong but that's how I feel to interpret this nameless character

I always loved the idea of Arthur’s ghost being with John in his final moments. Arthur loved John and vice versa. I think before John fell and died I like to think he thought about Arthur and let the sun shine on him as it did on Arthur before he died as well.

God, why does Jack Marston have to have such a sad life. He loses so many people he sees as family, especially Arthur, in RDR2. Micah wanted to leave him orphaned in RDR2 when the Pinkertons took Abigail to hang her and when John was presumed dead. He loses so many people that were close to him so quickly, he didn't even have time to process it. Then in RDR1 He loses Uncle and his father in a matter of minutes and then loses his mother not even four years later. There's dialogue from Jack in RDR1 (dependent on your honor level from what I heard) that just shows Jack is incredibly depressed. He deserves so much better

But it's basically the last moment Arthur has with his dad. He mentions that his dad was shit but for some reason he still kept his hat. So I assume this moment became a core memory for Arthur.

First post here but I'm on an RDR2 kick so here's an Arthur headcanon

At the start of the game you have neutral honor right? And obviously from a gameplay perspective it makes sense so players can choose a high or low honor playthrough without having a preference to one option. However, from a narrative perspective I think this shows how while Arthur has done numerous bad things in his life, he's also done alot of good things in his life too.

Now I'm not saying he's done huge good deeds like he does later in the game, I'm talking like little things that stacked on each other. Like Arthur helped someone find their way home or protected them from wolves or something in his past. Something he'd see as just a random act, a random urge to do some good, but over time it left him at a weird equilibrium where his bad actions are canceled out by the good ones. Dumb I know but just a thought I had.
