Heaven Gained Another Angel

There was a cloudy sky,

Nothing in sight

It was October 31

Halloween Night

She had not a worry

Not even a fright

The darkness took over

And stole her light*

Did you ever really know me?

I want you to ask yourself a question

One to really think through.

Even if we were the same size foot,

We'd never fit into each other's shoe.

We may walk a similar path;

However, we take different steps.

We may breath the same air;

But, we take different breaths.

You may think you know me,

From watching from afar;

However,

I am just as unique,

As the billion shinning stars.

The memories will last a lifetime;

So, keep them stored safely on your shelf

But It's impossible for you to know me

When,

I don't even know myself*

A couple months ago, someone taught me newlyweds used to plant sycamore trees on both sides of a walkway leading to their house, then join them together to symbolize two becoming one. Today I saw it for the first time. (via imgur)
