Honestly, I may leave the fandom over this. International Swities are paid dirt over and over. We have to go above and beyond constantly to get anything from Taylor.

We pay extra for merch shipping and have longer wait times. We pay for digital downloads on merch that we can’t use. We don’t shows. We don’t get access to Secret Sessions. We can’t watch documentaries and specials because they are locked for viewing from our areas.

Now, we don’t get access to the same merch.

I have personally travelled over 10,000 miles to go to a Taylor Swift concert since there were none near me. When you account for additional travel costs, hoteling, exchange rates, everything, I have probably spent thousands of dollars and hours of time. I know I lucky enough to have this.

And to top it off, this is just me living in Canada. I can’t imagaine what fans in other parts of the world have to deal with.

This is actually ridiculous.

@taylorswift and @taylornation , you really need to start addressing this. There is a two-tiered fan system and I, and many others, are starting to lose our patience.

the thing is, of course it’s a genius marketing move! it’s a great way to keep folklore on the charts! but does it ALWAYS have to be on the expense of international fans, who have so many less opportunities in regards to merch, concerts, etc. anyways? because we’re always the one losing, always the ones missing out. and it just sucks when it continues to happen again and again bc it just shows how sales (and therefore, us fans) and whatnot are more important than international fans because what do we have to offer right :-)

INTERNATIONAL GIVEAWAY.

Hi. So I can understand that being an international fan can suck. (I lived in Belgium and France for 19 months and missed the entirety of the Reputation US goodness.)

That being said, I understand my privilege of being a US Swiftie.

Being lucky enough to get one in Kansas City yesterday was incredible and I don’t need another one. I bought this one specifically for the purpose of shipping it to an international fan. (This is only for tumblr blogs//accounts)
