Clark was just on his way to pick up his daughter from daycare when he realized his car just wasn’t starting. “Are you fucking kidding me..” He cursed under his breath, slamming the wheel with two open hands, trying again a few more times. He soon gave up and huffed, figuring he was going to have to call up a mechanic. That was until he remembered that Jesse sometimes did odd jobs like fixing cars. He’d be fairly cheap… Only thing he’d have to do was go out for a few beers with him or if he did need cash, he didn’t mind giving him some. 

Once Jesse was there, he stood in the sidewalk, mentally panicking. He was supposed to pick up Abby twenty minutes ago. Hopefully she was okay… He knew he’d get a call if it wasn’t… When Jesse mentioned that he fixed the problem, he let out a loud sigh of relief. “God, you’re seriously the best, Jesse! Was it really just the oil? That’s it?” He questioned, finding it a little odd that it was only the oil and his engine didn’t just freeze like it sometimes does when it’s really cold out.

Laughing softly, Jesse stood up and dusted off his hands before answering, “Yeah, just that damn oil. You’ll be fine though.” He licked his lips as he looked over his work. The man thought it was a great job and Clark could go get Abby from her daycare.

“Why thank you.” Jesse chuckled softly as he nodded his head. “Anytime. I had fun.” Jesse added softly before saying, “I’ll just take a fifty.” The man joked around with the other.
