So I made this because my other blog got too popular for different reasons. I started feeling shy about going full clannibal nerdy/horny. I will still post on both, but save this one for only the movies/books/fanfics.

Calling all Clannibals and Fannibals!
Question for y’all…
To what extent do you guys think Clarice would have to push Hannibal to get him to kill her? I mean like, really push him and how would he do it?
-I say he would take his time with her in a poetically and artistic way. Like he’s gonna let himself “enjoy her end” type-of-thing and in terms of taking and eating an organ from her, I feel like it would be her heart.
Idk just my opinion, but I’d love to hear your guys’ thoughts!
Please take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I see it this way:
Show: I feel like Mad's Hannibal is written in a much more violent way with a higher survival instinct. I feel like if Clarice were to get in the way of his freedom or desires, then he would have no problem removing her or at least harming her.
Movies: Hopkins' Hannibal has proven he would never hurt her. Even in the event of losing his freedom, he would rather harm himself and abandon her instead of killing her.
Books: Now we come to the reason why I love the books the most. I feel like there's enough ambiguity and a small hint that maybe not all will be well for all time. Whether it's Hannibal or Clarice who will be the cause of each other's destruction, I don't know. I just feel like the books allow for the possibility of a game being played or of a battle of wills that might not end with both of them surviving. I love that. Lovers/enemies or soulmates/nemesis, it's good stuff.
THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS (1991)
"How do you want the lights?" he said. The corridor between the cells was dim. Near the far end she could see bright light from the last cell shining on the corridor floor. "Dr. Lecter's awake." "At night, always - even when his lights are off." "Let's leave them like they are."

thank god hannibal is a master negotiator
The Silence of the Lambs (1991) dir. Jonathan Demme
“Spaces devoted to Hannibal Lecter’s earliest years differ from the other archives in being incomplete. Some are static scenes, fragmentary, like painted attic shards held together by blank plaster. Other rooms hold sound and motion, great snakes wrestling and heaving in the dark and lit in flashes. Pleas and screaming fill some places on the grounds where Hannibal himself cannot go. But the corridors do not echo screaming, and there is music if you like.”
