Class-based Want Disablers

Something a little different this time: want disabling mods. I made these for my own game after getting unreasonable wants (for instance peasants wanting to hire their liege lords as their employees) that I found immersion breaking and figured some of you might be interested. Pictured above are my gentry family's servants for illustration purposes. The following traits ( peasant, yeoman, servant and outcast) will not be rolling the following wants: hire butler, hire maid, hire business employee, hire nanny, do homework, learn to study. Special thanks to @heathensimmer for showing me how to disable wants. I did test these briefly, but if any issues arise do let me know, as I am fairly new to the modding scene.

Hunyadi Caftan

For my 100 followers gift: an Adult Male mesh mashup of @notsooldmadcatlady's Youngman bottom and @sulsulzukohere's conversion of Crusader Kings 3’s Carolingian Lower Nobility tunic that I had commissioned a while ago from @pop-sims. 

The original textures I did not much care for and told lovely PopSims that she need not bother for I *in all my hubris* was planning on retexturing the mesh myself. Well, over half a year later I managed to come up with exactly one retexture that I am satisfied enough with to release. I hope someone else will have more creative juices and edit, retexture, age convert, do whatever with this gorgeous mesh.

Textures are from CK3, KCD2 and by notsooldmadcatlady. The mesh poly-count is 6923, it is using smooth hands. It has a working fat morph. Extended SimMaterialShader by Crisps&Kerosene has also been utilised for the envCube mask for the dagger and sabretache to look shinier, but it can be used without it as well and in that case I recommend deleting the envCube map. Is it historically accurate? Colors and textures were inspired by Hungarian nobility during the reign of Sigismund of Luxembourg. (the shape of the tunic itself is halfway between a Byzantine Hypokhamision and a caftan, often worn by Hungarians pre-Christian times. ) Named after my favorite military tactician of all times, for whom the bells toll at noon every day: Hunyadi János.

Milk Carton

On my list of annoyances of anachronistic tiny details this has been pretty high, with no default thus far (that I know of.) Well, no longer. Farewell ugly milk carton, my hungry slob sims won't be missing you. There is a tiny bit of clipping going on, but I feel like it isn't too noticeable. Mesh is from KCD2. Poly-count is 440, texture size is 512x512. CRES has been edited to minimize clipping. Tip Jar

Next up is the tip jar, another object that hasn't had many medieval default replacement options over the years. This default uses a mesh from KCD2. It is 403 polygons and uses a single 512×512 texture.

Water balloon rotten apple default

Another medieval default no one asked for. I've long dreaded the default water balloons, as there have been very few period-friendly alternatives. So I decided to replace them with rotten apples instead.

My first thought was to use a mesh from KCD2, but since this accessory requires morphs, I instead modified misaki0218's tomato default by removing the sepal to make it resemble an apple. I then retextured it using free textures from Sketchfab and TextureCan, resized the mesh, and adjusted the CRES so it sits naturally in the Sim's palm. Poly-count lowered from the original 721 to 381. Texture size is 512x512.

Unfortunately—and I have no idea how to fix this—the original colorful balloons will sometimes still appear when the water balloons burst. As far as I can tell, this seems to be an issue shared by all existing water balloon defaults.

The original Open for Business award plaque has always felt a little too modern and corporate for my taste, so I replaced it with models from KCD2.

This default replacement includes two models. The wall-mounted plaque is a lightweight 137 polygons, while the freestanding version is around 6,000 polygons (medium-high poly). Both models share a single 1024×1024 texture.

As requested, this is @yoursingrey 's AF Agnes Kirtle with mesh edits and added fat & preg morphs. I edited the textures (details under the cut) so the recolors are also included. Categorized as everyday & outerwear, normal shoe sound.

Also added a Maxis hands version (the original has smooth hands), don't forget to delete whichever version of the mesh you don't want. Polycount: with Maxis hands: 7,786 // with smooth hands: 9,594.

Textures edited to prevent white lines to appear along the seams as you zoom out (and yeah the blond sim has the fat morph) ↓

Mesh edits, mostly bone assignment to improve movement and clipping ↓

It's not perfect but better. I removed a few faces from the dangling part of the belt to make it easier to get rid of clipping. Also buffed up the arms and reduced the bust a bit to make them closer to the standard AF shape.

Saxonated Secret Santa 2025 Gift for @tipsypixel-sims

Another great event at Plumb Bob Keep, in which my Santee was the terrific Tipsypixel, who requested some goodies for @arendholmislands. Needless to say, I was very inspired by such a beautiful world!

Tons of deco textiles and furs for decorating benches, counters, floors, and walls.

Some wolves.

Various flowers, plants, and trees native to Britain made seasonal.

Rocks and more rocks edited to texture-reference Marvine's Waterfall Shower Matching Rock 01 and to allow for snow to accumulate in winter.

Items have been edited to be repriced, recategorized, recolorable, room ratings lowered, add and/or remove tiles, viewable in neighborhood mode, thumbnails fixed, shine removed from TXMT, and then recolored, as well as compressed. A collection file and swatches are included in the folder for convenience. File names have been changed, but the original GUIDs have been kept! These edits will overwrite the originals in-game. Please see the attached text document file for additional information and links to original sets where possible. All credits and a world of thanks goes to the original creators!

Not another set of OMSPs! v.2 (Fix for later EPs)

The all new and shiny version of the previous ones. I originally made these because I’m a lazy decorator and using OMSPs is always a bit annoying for me. So here’s the new version, with following features: 

make objects placed on them walkthroughable

can be placed without moveobjects on

slaved to BB niches (because who knows what this is good for)

each has 5 slots, each of a different kind (ground, low table, table, end table, counter)

very strong, will hold pretty much every 1 tile object

6 OMSPs for foundation, counter, sofa, coffee table, bed, table - should not be stackable, because I hate it when OMSPs jump on counters and tables. However they might be stackable when moveobjects on is enabled or on certain CC objects.

3 add ons, stackable

shiftable with AL groundsize is 1x1 tile, so you can play Minecraft ;) -> note that the upper pictures still show the older version of the OMSPs, which are less than 1x1 tile wide. The new version has a larger groundsize, as shown in the last picture.

SHOULD still be BGcompatible, but I can’t test

I’ve included a transparent recolor of the BBniches, as a bonus option, especially for lot creators (does not get rid of the shadow outside, however, while the clicking-method does). The recolor is NOT required for the OMSPs to work, so you can delete it if you don’t want it.

One last thing: even when they are turned invisible, the slots are still acessible, in contrary to the former version. This may be useful or annoying, but I can’t see a way to change it. I suggest to use Slotblockers, e.g. those.

Hello, hello! :D I'm taking a page out of @esotheria-sims's book today, who always adds a pretty "Random Scenery Pic™" to announce the return of her BACC posts. I think I never posted this picture of Boda watching the waves at night, because I couldn't fit it into the *turning-gameplay-into-storytelling* way I construct my posts, even though it is probably my favorite picture of her!

Anyway, what I am here to say is: I finally managed to stop spending my time cc-creating and building/decorating and actually played my game for once and even scheduled some posts! 🎉

The first post will be coming to your dashes tomorrow at the usual time (so... *checks* 19:30 UTC +2)! ⛵

I also plan to space them out a little more this time around so the planned posting times are Thursday/Saturday/Tuesday. But I guess we'll see how well that goes and I might end up changing it again because apparently this is how I roll, so... 🤷🏽‍♀️😂

Welcome to clutter addicts anonymous. We're here to help, by enabling your addiction. Oh you thought we'd try and fix you? Nah, there's no such thing as too much cluttering and me and my fellow addict @episims are here with a collab to bring you a set of much needed rotator OMSPs.

Perhaps you are familiar with Anoeska's object rotators, or you use the fway object rotators, or the SilentLucidity mega-set. They all have their uses, and their drawbacks. We feel there is room for one more set, that gives you more fine tune control without some of the annoyances.

The ground set will rotate objects around their center axis, in the same way we as players can but these give you the option of smaller degrees than the in game 45° and 90°. They come in 5 degree increments, for a total of 8. Items placed on them are still accessible to sims, though the animations may look wonky.

The wall set will rotate the item to the side, intended for wall items you may want to hang not quite straight. The SilentLucidity set has this, but the degree increases are large and they end up very wonky. Sometimes you want it just a little crooked, this set fills that niche. They come in 1 degree increments up to 9 degrees, for a total of 9.

Both sets come in clockwise and counter clockwise. They are perfectly level with the ground, and will go on other OMSPs. They come in small and large size, like the classic purple set, for a total of 68 OMSPs. You can choose if you want them in the catalogue, or collection only.

BB Niche Match Batch - Set 2 + Walls

In the same vein of matching things to the Super Stone Set, I also had a few building pieces and furniture pieces that I wanted repo'd to BB Niches for more versatility that I or others had not yet done yet.

LeMorvan Fridges 1 & 3 : Two subsets of walls and shelves.

Salix Loft Stairs: Repoed stairs and wall to each niche subset, allows to have a nice compact stair in a variety of textures.

Emerelind Spiral Stair Alcove: One subset. I did not change the internals on this package, just the name and the the texture referencing. It will overwrite the original.

Community Stove Cover: Made this so I didn't have to deal with making/finding recolors of the Community Stove. It has fairly limited recolorability as it is...so pair what recolors are out there that you like with this thing, which fits snuggly like a glove over it, granting you additional wiggle room for textures.

Window Nook Seat : For those bay windows that you make yourself rather than using the maxis versions. Comes in three variations that all share the game GUID so you'll have to choose only one: Maxis Bedding, Jonesi Blanket, or Sun&Moon for the fabrics.

Additionally, I needed some common wall use recolors of the BB Niches set at a whole so I threw those on there. Wall credits in the zip so you can also find the matches.
