Blaine: "Me, a sleepyhead?" he laughed softly, wrinkling his nose cutely. "Mmm... food or cuddles?" he smiled at his husband and kissed him back. Seeing Kurt next to him made him really happy. He just wanted to be next to him when he woke up. It was really the greatest feeling. "I love you," he sighed happily. Blaine giggled when Kurt pulled away, pouting playfully. He was sort of conscious, now. Kurt always made his brain fuzzy and made him extra happy. He laughed again softly. "Shh... just kiss. Mmm... can we cuddle first before we get up to get food? And speaking of food, I want pancakes," he said, then yawned, returning the kisses. "You're so cute..." Blaine whispered and kissed him again, cuddling closer. "Still warm... don't wanna move..."

Kurt: "You sure are sure of your stomach for being barely coherent. Some things never change." Kurt laughed, happily obliging to Blaine's wishes and kissing him again ending it with a happy hum. Kurt happily wrapped his arms around his husband when he moved in closer, never being one to turn down the extra affection. "You do know that I'll have to get up eventually if you want those pancakes, right? Or you can get up with me and help slash cuddle while upright. You know I won't object to either thing." Kurt kissed his forehead again, deciding to shut up and enjoy the moment a little bit longer.

Blaine: Blaine didn't expect life as a teacher to be as exhaustive as it was. But it also meant that he had a lot to do to keep him busy. He loved his job. A lot. But he missed having the extra time to spend with Kurt. Weekends were a gift to him now. "Mmm... Kurt..." he mumbled, rolling onto his side, giggling quietly. "You're here..." he mumbled happily. Having Kurt in the morning next to him was also a gift. He never thought that it would be something he'd find in a long time to be real. He was still in dreamworld, so it didn't click quite yet in his head that they'd finally have a day together. "Hi..." he whispered, starting to open up his eyes. Blaine's lips curled into a smile. Wedded bliss was one way to put it. They were married for over a year now and he was so happy to have Kurt be his. "I love you," he whispered to his husband, starting to wake up a bit more.

Kurt: "I love you too, sleepy head." Kurt sat up a little from where he was laying, propping himself up on his arm and looking down at those warm brown eyes he'd grown to love so much. "I was going to go make us food but I'd much rather stay here with you instead." Wasting no time with re-situating himself so he was now face to face with Blaine rather than leaning over him, he smiled, chuckling a little before leaning in to kiss him properly. He reluctantly pulled back only when he had to breathe, but even still didn't waste any time leaning back in for a second and third. Kurt could never get enough of his husband, but after weeks of not seeing much of him it's like his brain was on a one way track to Blaine and wasn't going to take no for an answer. "Mmm, part of me wants to apologize for this wake up call, but we both know I'm not sorry." Another kiss. "At all."

Kurt: Lately Kurt was lucky if he was home by nine pm, let alone midnight before he had to be up and at work again by seven. It was tiring and exhausting and he was really starting to question why he originally agreed to take the extra hours instead of being home with Blaine. That was honestly the worst part, knowing that this had taken a toll on Blaine even if he was still trying to always maintain his positive demeanor. That why when he rolled over in bed that morning, he wasted no time pulling his husband in close and kissing a trail along his jawline lazily. Blaine had always been adorable when he wasn't quite awake yet and today was no exception. Kurt normally would have been gone at this point, but in hopes to make Blaine realize he wasn't about to leave him in his sleepy state, he took hold of his hand, bringing then into his chest and holding on that much tighter to the sleepy man next to him. "Good morning, gorgeous." He pressed another kiss to Blaine's cheek before rest in comfortably with him.

Oh no. No, sweetheart it’s not your fault at all. I’m doing everything in my power to get some time off soon or at least get home earlier. We can’t go on like this.

Not at all, because I’m ready for another vacation, honestly.

I don’t even need vacation, just seeing you while you’re awake for more than and hour would be nice.

I guess because that’s all part of being an adult. We need some time together. And more than just a few stolen hours.

Oh I’m well aware of that fact, trust me. Is it terrible of me to consider skipping all the crap today jus so we can stay home together for once?

Hmm, we’ll work around it. Somehow. I could visit you during your lunch and we could do that?

I know, but it’s still not the same. Why does adulting suck so much?

Well… Spring break’s coming up. Which means you’ll have me for a week while the kids are out.

I know that, but there’s still this little thing called Isabelle. She loves me, but she’s not going to give me time off just so I can see you. Sadly.

I know… it’s been busy. Lots of preparing and meetings and things.

Still. We’re almost to six months of marriage and I haven’t even been able to see you aside from the back of your head in the morning. I hate being an adult sometimes.
