تحول مفاجئ من العشاق إلى الغرباء

ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib, رضي الله عنه, said:
“No calamity descends without a sin, and no calamity is removed without repentance.”

With every pain there is purification
Ibn ‘Abdil-Barr Raḥimahullāh:
“Dunyā (this world) and Ākhirah (Hereafter) are (like) two wives, if you try to please one of them the other one gets displeased.”

Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“Everything around you is a witness for you, when you engage in the remembrance of Allāh,
