Sebastian raised an eyebrow. “It sounds like you don’t believe me.” He deadpanned. “Odd personal choice, but hey I could never stop you from making dumb mistakes.” He continued, throwing the boy what was meant to be his most disarming smile. Since intimidation hadn’t worked, perhaps he could flirt his way back into Hunter’s good graces, as much as the thought made his skin crawl. “We’re not the same boys we once were, Cicerus.” He said, using the other’s birth name for emphasis. Not missing a beat, he shrugged, as though conducting a business deal. “Look, you can have the whole of Europe.” He offered. “That includes… back home. I figured you’d be one to care about such things.” Sebastian hadn’t visited that particular region in a long time, he didn’t like to look back too much. “I’m trying to be reasonable here.” He added.
“Look, you don’t know me anymore alright? You haven’t for at least a few centuries. The boy you once knew…” He paused. “Felix.” He shook his head. “Just consider him dead, Hunt.” He said. “I do want things though. Like cute boys to keep me warm at night or… for you to leave me the hell alone.” He said, before he rolled his eyes. “You’re awful.” He continued. “Absolutely awful. But if you think your little order will stop me from getting laid… you’re dreaming.” He continued. “Go on and play with your food or something. If you drink our whole competition dead, is that a win by default?”
"Certainly does.” He replied in the same tone. He gave him a glance at the smile and arched his brow, with a look that said what are you up to? He knew that smile. He sneered lightly at the mention of his name, and shook his head lightly to himself, as Sebastian went on, “Indeed, because you have always been the poster boy for reasonable, Felix.” He heard him as he went on and clenched his jaw.
“Even you can’t always get what you want now can you?” He smirked, to hide the tight feeling in his lungs. “I haven’t upped my kill count in quite a while, no interest in starting now for you. Goodbye, have a nice week, Sebastian.” He told him as he got out of there before he either punched him in the face or kissed the attitude out of him. Sebastian had a rare gift to make him feel irrelevant when he wanted to, and Hunter did not care for the feeling. Perhaps he’d just have to redouble his efforts to remind him he wasn’t the only one who had pursued him for the last millennia.
