in case you’re not in hiatus you already know about the hottest koreanovela today. Yes you’re right! It’s Descendants of the Sun starring Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo. And since tonight will be the last episodes I can already feel the separation anxiety. (It is a double heart break because today is Kobe’s last game also.) Ottoke? So before I break down, I will share to you the things I will miss about the #DOTS.

1. Captain Big Boss’ stare that will melt not only Doctor Kang’s heart but all the viewers out there.

2. Song-Song couple fist bump.

3. Bromance of Big Boss and Wolf.

4. Sergeant Major Seo and lieutenant Yoon complicated relationship

5. When oppa is drank/ jealous or just kinikilig.

6. All of them. Aigoo!

Into the Wall

At some point in time, you will find yourself at the dead end. Nowhere to go aside from the brick wall in front of you. You don’t know if you will just embrace it or think of any possible way to go through of it. Then this will come to your mind, “Only a thing is definite, you can escape.” By any virtue you MUST ESCAPE. Not for anyone but for your own sake.

Doubters will doubt. Haters will hate. But they can never put him down. 'You can't please everybody.' Proven na yan. Kahit ilang beses syang mag-posterized dunk, kahit ilang beses syang maka-shoot ng clutch shot or 3-point shot may masasabi pa rin ang mga tao. Kesyo may magic daw si ref. Pinapaboran daw ang team kasi bata ni MVP. Overrated daw and highly praised masyado. Wala na daw ibang kilala kundi sya. Flopping nan daw. And so on and so forth. But haters are blind. They can only see negative things. They cannot see how he used his basketball IQ to lead his team. Their eyes are closed when he makes MVP stats. Kahit proof na yung statistics sasabihin pa din daya yun. Kahit nakasama na sya sa National Team at nakakuha na ng dalawang gold sa sea games, they still make fuss about it. Hay haters, ano pang gusto nyong proof na talagang magaling sya? Advice lang ha. Lets just be fair. Honestly may mga hindi din ako gustong player. Yung isa nga magaling talaga at naging MVP din. Pero at least ako aminado akong magaling din sya. And i never bash him in social media. Lets all respect them. All of them have their own capabilities. They were there because they have basketball talents. If you dont like them, at least show some respect to their talent.

Heartbreak leads to hope. Again.

Same reason. Same heartbeat. Cheering. Praying. Hoping. Then suddenly a long silence that will break our heart again.

Several weeks that we waited for this. Hoping that we can bring the FIBA World Cup to our own ground. We monitor the preparations of our basketball committee on how they can get this bid. It includes days of reading news and articles in social media and broad sheet while silently uttering a prayer that this could be our another basketball year. Many of us imagined that we could probably see Steph Curry doing his three point shot in the Philippine Arena. We set our mind that we could witness a world class basketball games here in our own country.

A night before the final judgement, all the hoops citizens united to make a call in social media. #PUSO2019 We didn’t disappoint our delegates coz we really showed our full social media suppport. While our delegates showed the FIBA what can they expect from us, from the largest arena to the heart warming support of all the Filipinos to basketball, we were on our phone tweeting and posting reasons why they need to choose us.

Until the moment come. At around 6:15 yesterday, all our hearts were pounding with excitement. You can read only one thought in my twitter feed, ‘This is it. Give this to Philippines.’ Dug. Dug. Dug. The FIBA President went on stage holding a white envelope which will deliver our fate. He opened it and show what was written. And the FIBA World Cup 2019 host will be. . . DugDug. Dugdug. A five letter country's name was shown. Yes, we lost agai.

That news gave us a heartbreak.They say that we are not yet ready to handle this big event. Maybe our infrastracture were not, but our hearts were more than a hundred percent ready. But this is not the end of our journey. We should not lose our hope. In the right time at the right moment we can get that bid. We will give them cross over dribble drive with a posterized dunk just like what Norwood did to Scoala. We just have to wait and don't lose hope. We can get it. Kapit lang. Laban lang.

I believe that life is the most precious gift of God to us. Like a blooming flower, He wants us to give beauty to the world even in small ways. And when the time comes that we will be withered, remember the times when we gave love and happiness to others so that we will know that we are all important in this world. From now on, ill try my best to give joy to others in my own simple way. Cheers to 21 years of my life. :)

Eleanor & Park

A lot of praises I heard about this book before, and whenever I went to bookstore it always caught attention. Maybe because of the cover or maybe its the author's name, which I thought belongs to a guy. I just have this feeling that i have to buy it. So i did. And it did not disappoint me, from the endless cussing (though im not fond of using fouled words) of Steve (although he is barely part of the story) at the beginning through Park's love that seems to be infinite. Rainbow Rowell shows her readers that not all protagonists need to be beautiful, breathtakingly beautiful just to find their true love. She tells us that its okay to be big and awkward with crazy bright red hair and freckles almost everywhere but still looks so beautiful inside and out. That there will always be this one person who will love you like forever (if it exists), who doesn't care if you're wearing weird clothes or people making fun of how you look. He just care how your hand fits in his and how you made him smile every moment you are together. As what John Green said, the book reminds how to be young and in love. Love, that even at the young age, knows its true meaning. A true love at first sight indeed. Although I cant really say that they are lucky enough to find it at a young age when their whole world is still upside-down.

Life Peg.

Two words that will describe how i see her as a person. It started when I saw her as PBB host. I admire her style and beauty, the way she wear her dress and how she speaks. Then I follow her on all social media I have. I got a chance to know her better through her posts. Nalaman ko na isa rin syang life enthusiast at hindi sya maarte. I also admire her for encouraging every Filipina to be proud of our color. Sabi nga nya "Proud Morena". 

Nagkataon pa na yung bf nya ay basketball player and I once said that when I marry someone sana basketball player kasi nga Im a basketball afficionado. Kaya ayun pati yung bf nya naging dream guy ko na rin. Not just bcoz he is a player but also i like how he respect and love Bianca. Plus he's sweet.

Then they got engaged on my birthday, March 20. When i watched the video on youtube, I was teary-eyed. I was wishing na sana ganun din ako kaswerte. :) I'm so happy for the two of them. Lalo na nung kasal nila last month. Ano pa nga ba ang aasahan sakin eh di "life peg+dream guy=DREAM WEDDING" ♥♥♥ Their wedding was so romantic and serene. Yung feeling na tingnan mo lang yung mga pics and video you can feel the love. Hindi bonggang bongga but you can see that it was well-planned. 

Another thing why I love Bianca was her writing skills. I read some of her article in Phil Star and of course hindi ko pinalampas yung book nya. Although almost a month bago ako nakabili bcoz of its availability in the nearest bookstore. Syempre binasa ko agad sya and I learned a lot from her. Simula dun sa akala ko dati maliit na bagay lang pero I need to pay attention pala hanggang sa paghahanap ko ng purpose sa buhay. Now, when i have a problem binabalikbalikan ko yung book just to keep on reminding myself what Bianca did and how she survive to be a fully grown woman now.

This is not the end of my admiration to her, coz I know mas marami pa syang maipapakita sakin at sa million of her fans. I know na hindi sa book nya natatapos ang mga learnings na makukuha ko sa kanya.

3rd win. :)

Sloppy start that made my nerves unease to the point that my hot-headed-version-mode-on. I really thought that the ball had a wax on it that many times in the first half I felt that it always slip on their hands. The reason why they can’t made a good shot. I was really frustrated at that moment until the end of 2nd quarter even though we had the lead.Then to add to my frustration I need to cut my not-so-happy-viewing-session bcoz my family need to watch th other program. (I really wish I have my own tv set.) Then when I get a chance to watch it again, I was delighted to what I saw. 15 points lead!!! Hooray! My mood really made a 360 degree shift. This is what im talking about. All they need is a good rythm and everything will follows. To add to my delight I saw Jimmy playing again after missing 4 games. His presence in the court is a big factor. And as I expected everything went into proper place. They get their 3rd win. It's a relief coz they need to win every single remaining games to have a good position in the standing. It's the first back-to-back win for the Tropa and I know that something better will follow. See you in their next victory. <3

Thoughts of the Day. :)

Until now I'm still searching for the true meaning of that word. But I guess this searching thingy will be a like a long boring vacation. I just have to wait until the right time comes. Until I experience it on my own. Sometimes Im being impatient. Asking Him when will it happen. But always having a second thought that I know He will give me the best. Long wait is nothing if I know that I will end up getting the best and meaningful concept of that word. <3
