there are pretty few ways to get quickly terminated at my job tbh. we're unionized and have a good system for managing variances and helping each other

the only ones that really will screw you are if you're being stupid haha. like no call no shows, getting caught out in public when you called in sick (they check sm for stuff like this too) and of course gross negligence which is basically being so careless with your float and transactions that you'll be off by over a thousand dollars. usually even if that happens once (depending on the amount) it can be remedied but if it happens often or is a SUPER large amount of money then you'll be fired and possibly charged criminally

#needless to say i am not guilty of these offences haha #i like my job! and i am actually pretty anxious about being a good employee #pip talks

looking back at posts like this makes me laugh a bit because though i dislike making mistakes still, i also don't stress nearly as much. i've been at my current job for about a year and a half and i've realized finally that honestly? nothing is really that big a deal

actually thinking now i really should be cracking the whip and starting some new designs for products! that was my goal for the summer

i think i'd like to draw some new art for prints too. idk if i'll be ambitious enough for watercolours but i can always do it digitally
