Ah, I-I am elated to be of some assistance and alleviate burdens, though. The roads all bleed as one eventually after the fall. But…ah, I-I understand the toll travel has upon one…and finding unaffiliated survivors is an enigma in and of itself, but welcome n-nonetheless. Please, ask as many questions about the area as you see fit—and rather, I-I should apologize for taking up your time.
The other's words of warning to abstain from altruism contradict their actions; they advise to avoid unnecessary charity yet offer a stranger pity in the form of sustenance. Kamukura dismisses a majority of what they caution for they've never given without a selfish motive behind their magnanimity as empathy they have none of and compassion is something foreign to them.
A pointless apology brings the survivor's response to a close even though they've nothing to atone for. It's a show of weakness, if anything, and reminds Kamukura of a previous behaviorism forced onto them while bound to a closed-off room by a lack of free will.

The question can pertain to both the members of Despair and the organization that works to stop them. Any answer they give can help tell Kamukura what either side plans within the city and if their intentions are above surface level; if it fits into the grand scheme of things on both ends, then the rundown area can provide more than just food, assuming that they even have answers to begin with. There's no rush to progress forward when they're ahead of schedule and Towa City is even closer than it should ideally be; time wasted ruins nothing and so speaking to others can be done at leisure.
They shift to rest their weight on their right and hunger spikes even with minuscule movement.

Forbidden by the Foundation means virtually nothing to them and if the one before them can defend themself then there's little reason for worry. Kamukura's nonchalant lack of regard for Foundation regulations will most likely put up red flags but they've shown no signs of hostility so they figure it should matter very little.
"No. There are preventative measures."

（未来；She never expected to find a part of the city quite like this. Everything looked the same; ruins and rubble everywhere she looked, the faint smell of death that always found her nose. Yet, something was different about this part of the city but… she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Was it the fact that some of the buildings looked almost completely undamaged? Or was it the fact that she had a feeling that she’d run into something that wasn’t mechanical, for once that wasn’t Touko?
And she had a feeling that she’d meet them soon.
Walking with quick, light steps, she kept her eyes focused on what was around her as she kept her megaphone close by. Of course, if what she was going to encounter was a human being, it would have no affect at all on them. But, it still worked as an ordinary megaphone, and besides, she could probably use it to damage them indirectly. If there was anything nearby that could be used, of course.
The girl’s footsteps stopped as she felt a presence nearby. Scanning the area as she listened closely for a sound; a voice, a buzz, anything that could tell her exactly what was with her. There! The faint sound of rubble hitting the ground was heard from behind her. She almost instantaneously turned in the general direction and steeled her nerves. Dried lips opened to speak, her tone of voice almost sounding a bit demanding.

A diminishing supply of basic necessities meant contact with the adult survivors taking refuge in the city was inevitable. — or would have been had they not come across someone younger than the remnants of Despair and older than the children who littered the streets among rotting corpses.
With little to focus on after completing the AI that would begin the end, their time was spent waiting within the walls of the city until the aforementioned remnants gathered together like pieces of a whole. Towa City, the city that would provide that very rendezvous, had proved itself to be significantly safer and more efficient in providing shelter than any place for refugees they’d come across in the past. They may have shown up at a time when it lacked the imminent threat of being tortured by children half their size, but Kamukura had no doubt that they would have handled the situation with little to no effort had it transpired while they were around.
They decided to trail behind the person in sight before she took notice of them, staying at the edge of bloodied buildings until the moment to do otherwise presented itself. It was the sound of pebbles beneath their feet that gave them away in the end, and they came to a stop just as she did, stepping out from their position to the side.
Her question was disregarded in order to ask their own; names meant nothing now, and theirs even less when spoken to someone who probably wouldn't recognize it.
❝ Are they offering free supplies here? ❞
It was best to let their intention be known lest she assumed they'd been following for more hostile reasons. And while they could have called for her attention initially, they had plenty of time to waste and following her had depleted some of it.
