does anyone else think it would be kind of better if the pc was told at the beginning of the game that a grey warden had to die to end the blight?

i certainly understand the *drama* of telling them right on the eve of battle, but i think having the players have the thought that they will need to either let themself or alistair die in the back of their mind the entire game would be interesting. i think it would make the wardens' emphasis on sacrifice make more sense, and wynne's lectures on how it is a warden's duty to serve and save everyone more impactful.

i also think it would make accepting the dark ritual kind of more of a difficult choice if the player had already accepted this truth, rather than hearing they're going to die and then immediately offering another solution.
