Aww man, this flashback is making me miss Mai even more. ;-;

She tries to brush off the praise she gives Jounouchi a bit at the end there, but it’s obvious that she actually meant every word she said. I’ll just never be able to get over how much she admires and respects him and how his friendship has had such a positive impact on her. The two of them have such a lovely mutual admiration society going on between them and it’s just adorable and sweet.

Also Honda and Otogi’s faces are kind of priceless there.
