I feel Jean will learn quickly to read their s/o, he’s the type of boyfriend who knows how you’re feeling just by looking at you, and he would also know how to act in all situations, this is something he learned by paying a lot of attention to everything you do/ say (and it’s not something he do in purpose, he just do it because he’s like that).
This is related to the thing i just said, he pays a lot of attention to everything you do because he loves staring at you just admire everything you do, even if it’s just something that’s not really important, like studying, cooking or cleaning something, he will be get distracted and just start looking at what you’re doing (only if you’re not talking).
He definitely remembers all the little things you tell him, and he will bring it up later during conversations.
Remembering all this little things you say makes him good at giving gifts, he thinks a lot about what he’s going to give you and he wants the gifts to have a special meaning.
When you’re sad or having a bad day but you just don’t wanna talk about it, he would not bring up the conversation about how you’re feeling even if he really wants to know what’s bothering you. He will have little acts to make you feel better without making it very noticieable, and he will wait until you’re ready to talk about it.
I think one of the best qualities Jean has is that he’s really good at listen to people, I’m sure he wouldn’t judge you for anything you said and he would try to empathize with you all the time.
If you need advice with anything he would easily know what to say to you, and if it happens that he doesn’t know what advice to give you (it doesn’t usually happen), he will help you by asking you questions about the problem until you find a solution.
His most notorious love language is physical touch. He loves to give you physical signs of affection, he's a touchy guy. He likes to have little acts to make you feel loved all the time. If you're like me and don't really like physical affection in public, he would just do things that people won't notice so as not to make you feel uncomfortable, like putting his hand on your knee and stroking it if you're sitting next to each other.
He needs to know you're there, he continually checks to make sure you're okay, and it comes naturally (not in a toxic way) because he's afraid of losing you. The trauma caused by losing Marco made him worry a lot about his loved ones, and although it is a trait that he usually hides, you notice it.
Sometimes he even wakes up at night and if he sees that you're not close to him he will approach you to hug you, he wants to feel that you're by his side and that you have not left. On some occasison he even whispered in your ear believing that you were asleep to tell you not to leave him.
