As Yugi’s grip finally subsided Seto moved his hands to straighten the collar of his trench coat indignantly. Once Yugi had fetched his items he needed to bring along for the ride he exited the door promptly. As they walked down the sidewalk, his finger pushed to the blue led button on his headset which started the car awaiting on the curb before they even reached it. As they approached the sapphire lamborghini’s doors lifted vertically allowing the two males to take their respective seats inside.
One glance into the car and he could see it was loaded with more tech than an electronics store. Complete with state of the art, gaming systems and speed radars to let him fly down the freeway at 350 MPH without so much as a care for the law. The interior made up of plush black leather with his signature blue accents.
As he walked around the hood of the car to the drivers side he let Yugi gawk at it in admiration before responding to his compliment. ❝ Yes, yes it is. Now get in. ❞ Once in the driver’s side, his slender fingers went to work inputting the desired destination on several blue-holo screens that spanned the dash. The destination —the closest liquor store in Domino. Preferably the ones that were open later in the evenings. As the luxury sports car roared to life, a bright blue neon under glow lit the underside of the car as he stared into one of the central holo screens. “Welcome back, Mr. Kaiba!” A posh British accent belonging to a woman greeted the CEO over the car’s crystal clear speakers as his arm moved to wrap around Yugi’s passenger side headrest. Looking over his shoulder he began backing the car off the curb.
❝ Jack Daniels.❞
He responded, before whipping the car into a dangerous U turn as they sped down the dark street.
The entire vehicle screamed Seto Kaiba and Yugi was absolutely entranced as he took in every little detail before him, fighting the urge to reach around and touch everything. It was unlike anything he had ever seen, so much so that he was having a hard time finding words to describe it. Suddenly, his heart was racing with excitement for the ride.
He couldn’t help but smile, an amused chuckle leaving his lips after the computer greeted the blue eyed man, simply because every little thing about Seto carried his trademark... flashy and brilliant and absolutely extravagant. There was no getting bored in the presence of this man.
“Jack Daniels, huh? Very well, then let’s go, Kaiba-ku-” he couldn’t even finish the sentence because all of a sudden they were practically _racing_ down the street, passing other cars like they were nothing and performing questionable maneuvers that had had Yugi clinging to his seat for dear life.
What on Earth was going on?! He imagined Kaiba would be a very different kind of driver, but this? This was crazy and the adrenaline he was feeling from the experience wasn’t exactly pleasant. Sure, they were traveling in style and Yugi was pretty sure heads were turning all along the way to catch a glimpse of the luxurious vehicle. Kaiba was an expert on stealing the spotlight no matter what he did, after all.
“Kaiba! This is like… completely unnecessary!”
