The last life painting of the first year. Used a painting of Van Gogh as the colour reference. I liked the contrast between the pattern of the model’s jumper and the white chair; and the second model sort of faded in the purple background.

The last life drawing class in our first year! Two life models in costumes. Had been drawing nude models the whole year, found drawing clothes a bit tricky! 07/05/19
Another painting on 30/04/19 (and the colour reference). The model and his floating friend under a white blanket!
One of my life paintings on 30/04/19 and the colour palette reference.
The result of the life paintings on 02/04/19. I used the colour palette from the last picture as a reference.
The second picture was probably my favourite post in a whole year (a skeleton standing behind a horizontal mirror like a bartender) so I wanted to make an interesting picture out of it. I saw Lorraine drawing the ceiling with lined-up dots so I did that in mine too!

70-minutes painting, 12/03/19.
Another painting on 05/03/19. Got inspired by Mika and draw some lines with charcoal over the acrylic paint... the image became more stand-out after that.
Life painting with acrylic on 05/03/19.
Co-op painting with Pixie! Quite happy with how it turned out. My favourite part about this painting is the composition; all other students painted this with the different orientation of paper (landscape) because the model was lying down. When I looked at this picture I started from the bottom (where the model is, which is the main focus) and then I noticed the pipes on the ceiling, which is not as eye-catching as the model but keep the whole picture well-balanced. 26/02/19
Sometimes I forgot how to paint so I just built the picture with colour bricks... 26/02/19
10-seconds figures, using brushes to drawing the shapes instead of the outlines. 26/02/19
A beautiful mess! Co-op life painting with Annie. We started with painting background with different colour palettes, then used our own colour palette to paint the picture at the same time. It surprised me when we finished it. I could never have achieved a result like this if we weren’t doing this together. 19/02/19
