ok so you can call me either soap or paint (idm), i go by he/she pronouns and I'm mainly into lifesteal smp, specifically pangi. I'm also into FNAF, Radiohead and Overtonight. :D My best freind is @yumiundercover and you WILL get shot if you hate on them.

Idk who needs to hear this but Lukey is not an attachment to Pangi and Pangi is not an attachment to Lukey. They are their own people who, frankly, should be way more allowed to exist on their own and seen as separate people considering that they are. I don't care how much they talk about each other and there's nothing wrong with pangkey of course but when you stop seeing them as whole, separate people then you need to take a step back

Okay lore idea what if pangi wasn't actually like incinerated completed turn to ashes but rather just REALLY badly burnt like most of his scales were GONE like burnt off but his body is still there after everyone leaves and a phenoix dragon hybrid recognises the injuries are caused by fire and it able to use his powers to help him, phenoixs are kinda a symbol of resurrections so it would make sense. And when pangi is resurrected he's given things phenoix would have as he was brought back with the magic of a phenoix so he has big firey wings etc

It would be cool if pangi inhibits the characteristics of a phenoix although still being animalistic he's also kind peaceful non-violent

I can also see pangi due to his injuries losing his memory of people he's known from the realm or ls (if that's even canon) or atleast losing memory of what the hell this even is and being very reliant on his dragon because it's all he's ever know.

Also it'd be really cool if genderqueer pangi made a comeback by him not understanding the concept of gender and not giving a shit what people call him

I can think of one such instance you are vagueing about with P & L breaking the boycott on McDonald's. The mods of both took off on defending them on Twitter without any discussion with their streamers. But afterwards the streamers actually learned more and talked the following day about their actions.

To your point, there needs to be space to learn what consequences actions have when you are a streamer. And having blind support by fans and mods doesn't provide that. Some streamers make the same errors over and over again when they are given an out by their fans. I know L is someone who has taken an out with the blaccent mess. Not every streamer wants to learn and grow from mistakes.

yup exactly that! viewers always feel the need to defend streamers they like and its get to the point it isn't defending them against hate but sheltering them and stopping them from being educated. People like P and L are gonna be uneducated due to the multitude of privileges they have but that doesn't mean their bad people who wouldn't care about global issues - them not knowing doesn't make them completely innocent, or mean they shouldn't be asked to take accountability !

Privilege people speaking for oppressed people or saying actions of people who contribute to their oppression doesn't matter is such a huge problem within the mcyt space if someone is apologising for offending a marginalised group you as someone who isn't apart of said marginalized group can not forgive the person apologising or claim their actions aren't that serious because you'll never experience the oppression and discrimination the marginalized group faces, you can not determine if someone actions are morally okay if your having not been receiving end of said actions . I'm not just saying this because of recent situations aswell. Theres been so many instances of mods chatters and fans defending a streamer they like after they've said or done something offensive. Overall it just normalises these type of actions and silences the oppressed groups. Asking someone to address something especially when lives are at stake doesn't equal hate and you don't have to try justify streamers actions even if they weren't aware on how these actions could affect people - they can speak for themselves

Knowing Pangi? There will be deeper lore when he's with the right CCs. But he will also try to have silly fun since his main server isn't giving him enough time with friends chances right now. It will help that he knows a chunk of the cast list from TR or has met them in-person or both.

(I still want a return of the friendship book. It's a two server classic that I hope he makes as a tradition to joining a new server)

hello i am a mcsr mod and i would just like to say that WE DONT LIKE THAT SHIT EITHER (wrt your most recent post). i am (unfortunately) employed full time so i wasnt able to monitor it as much as i would have liked but i promise you that no mcsr mod that actually cares about our community likes all of this “hate watching” bullshit. on behalf of the mcsr community, i really am sorry that pangi caught so much crap when he tried to get into it. and i hope that he can continue to enjoy it in the future

can i say that around a month (?) ago maybe 2 when pangi was active on mcsr and fulham was watching his streams a bit it was weird seeing fulhams chat genuinely say most insulting shit abt him in fulhams chat like mind you NONE of these chatters knew pangi even a little bit. Like these are the same people who'll rant abt the parasocial culture of hate-watching streamers you dont know but will make exceptions that its okay to hate-watch a few select streamers then still think their morally superior. Like i genuinely started to dislike pangi going live on mcsr because of how rude people were to him during it and it very obviously ruined his motivation to played ranked atleast live. People feel way to comfort being mean to pangi and not knowing where to drawn the line between a joke and just shit-talking.

No hate if u think this could apply to you/you've done this. i don't know pangis boundaries and im probably making a big deal out of nothing i just want people to be kinder incase you accidentally are too mean.

hi! i saw your post and honestly think that maybe it's for the better that uu creators don't interact with theirs viewers and fanbase. we have like plenty of examples of why it's a bad idea to do so, especially if most of your audience is a bunch of kids that saw cool videos like "this player DESTROYED this minecraft smp". not to mention, since FF joined as a protagonist, many fans of pvp-related-stuff get into uu, and it's a large portion of fanbase rn. what i'm saying is that it's hard to speak up when you ask marlow join for a video and then this entire conspiracy regarding her(or him) starts with a new intensity.

all uu creators and co. have this list of boundaries that most of people in fanbase respect, but we need to understand that people that are violating them usually doesn't know anything regarding this boundaries(they are new or just don't participated in the fandom), or if they do know - they simply don't care.

it's safest to just make content and separate both fanbase and cc, and interact with uu or any other scripted smp as a fiction with characters. it's probably the only option that will make both sides sane and not provoke another drama.

haiiii thank you for being so respectful!!! but yeah I honestly do think uu creators not interacting with their fanbase has alot of good aspects its prevents parasocial people etc. But when it comes down to violence hate speech, misogyny these deep running issues if creators don't want/have to speak up for us to prevent drama, then who is going to speak up for us. Yes their audience is young which does mean it would hard to explain these concepts to them but it also means they have the power to influence thousands of kids. Queer rights, womens rights etc weren't gotten by doing the safest thing . Ofcourse getting in drama is annoying but to make any progress within society it's nesscesary.

I don't think they have to actively defend queer people by commenting etc but they should clarify they don't tolerate these behaviours. There's no reason homophobia should be normalised in a community built of queer people for your own selfish want of ' not getting into drama'.
