Wishing a well-deserved and happy retirement to our one and only Wonder Woman, Lion Queen, and 007 agent Wakabond!

Announcing the end of her competitive skating career, Wakaba stated:

"I have retired from competitive figure skating after 22 years. Today is March 9, Thank You Day. Basically if you are a small fed skater who wants to become a jump machine - I will support you. If you are a small fed skater who wants to be remembered as a "high art" skater - I will support you. If you are a big fed skater who isn't committed to finding perfect balance between technical elements and intricate choreography so the program is a complete unit - retire.
