CHAPTER 2
“Spotted: Jung Jaehyun is back in town. Missed him? We certainly do. Word is, he’s back in Neo Crest High after his mysterious disappearance a year ago. Why’d he leave? Why’d he return? Send me all the deets. You know where to find me. XOXO, Gossip Girl.”
It’s that time of the year again. That beginning of the school year in Neo Crest high. Being a student in one of the most prestigious schools in New York is a task to be taken seriously. A task to be socially considered at the very least rather academically and that’s how it’s been for years. Sure, academically you can be on top of everything, just make sure it goes well with your image. Take Blair Waldorf and Serena Van der Woodsen for example, beauty and brain at it’s finest and the most iconic Manhattan figures. Known as the Queen B and the It Girl of New York has had one of the most iconic rivalry, and it’s not the fight for Nate but the fight for Yale. Easily down in the books of history…, and Gossip Girl.
Photos of a blurred man in which you recognized was in Grand Central was shown on the first out of many pictures that was dumped in which you didn’t bother to thoroughly look through. You didn’t know who this Jaehyun was but you’ll definitely see him in Neo Crest, Gossip Girl said so. The weird thing was, why were you tagged in this?
But Neo Crest High is different. It’s a different scene compared to your previous school. It’s not like you’re not fit for the scene, you just don’t know how to act in that sort of environment. Being raised by parents who constantly believes that raising you away from privileged children will make you somewhat different, better, or whatever but it’s simply “a waste”—as per what your friend Priya tells you.
“Get rid of the turtle neck and change it to a blazer NOW.” Priya informs through facetime. She insisted on evaluating your first day outfit and went on about how you must strictly make a statement on your first day. “Everyone does!” You roll your eyes as she mentions it on call. “Yes, I know and maybe they will love that sweater, it’s Chanel!” – “Yes, Chanel and there are like 18 other Chanel copycats of that, your point is?” Knock out. Priya always had an eye for fashion and this is her expertise. What she says goes and she knows what goes. “None.” You reply cheekily as you run back to your closet for the nth time. Priya hums over the line, warning you about the turtle neck. “Turtle neck is off!” You shout in your closet just enough for her to pick up through face time.
You stand in front of the camera to show Priya your outfit. Clad in a matching Veronica Beard blazer and skirt, you wait for her approval. Her face turns completely. Squealing, she approves of your outfit.
You walk to the mirror to study your outfit. This is really better.
“Oh. My. God.” Priya exclaims mixed with shock. She could already feel her heart drop to the ground. You walk back towards your phone, grabbing it to your face and asking her what’s wrong. “Nothing.” Priya awkwardly smiles, something’s obviously bothering her. You can easily read her. “Are you sure?” You ask concerned. “Yes. I’ll meet you at school. Lunch. My treat.” She speaks. “But I thought we’re coming to school together?” You ask worriedly. “I think you can manage.” She says as if in a hurry. “What about the whole “statement” thing?” She groans through the phone. “You can do it on your own, it’s your time to shine. Look I’ll call you later.”
Biting your lips, you know something’s off with Priya. You made a mental note to bring this up later. “Okay.” You say in a light tone. She huffs, relieved you’re not mad. “Okay, perfect. Meet us in the Met steps, okay? Love you.” You remember agreeing to the Met steps tradition but with her friends? Are you ready for it? “With who?—” And the line cuts off.
That whole conversation was simply too off for you to understand but you leave it at that. You turn to leave your phone on your vanity as you’re called downstairs for breakfast.
It dings after a few seconds, making you halt your steps to check it. You check to see as the screen displays something odd. ‘Gossip Girl tagged you in a new post’. You tapped on it which redirects you directly to their Instagram page.

Taeyong lays back and scoffs in disbelief. “Gossip Girl? That’s still a thing? Wasn’t it shut down years ago?” He asks. “A year ago, Taeyong.” Priya corrects Taeyong. “What are we gonna do?” She asks. Taeyong laughs, “look, Priya. It’s just Jaehyun. He’s our friend and he’s home. I think that calls for a celebration.” Taeyong sits up as he hears the shower running, that was his cue. “Meet me at Jongin’s.” She says and ends the call. She exhaled as she slumped back on her chair, the picture of you and her displayed right in front of her and she exactly remember what this day was for. She feels terrible for leaving you on your own on your first day and prays you make it for the next 4-7 hours in Neo Crest High.
Priya sits anxiously in her room. The dialing tone her phone makes is not helping her calm down. Constantly repeating the words ‘pick it up, pick it up’, she waits for the person on the other line.
Priya sends her gratitude to the heavenly skies as the person picks up. “Why weren’t you— Oh my God, don’t tell me.” And her assumptions were proven correct when she hears a moan through the call. Taking the phone away from her ear to save her morning, she rolls her eyes. “It’s seven in the morning, Taeyong.” She speaks, putting the call on speaker.
“Good morning to you too.” Taeyong replies, encouraging his girlfriend to continue riding him. Taeyong placed his phone on speaker just so he can keep his hands on her hips, pushing her further as she tried to conceal her moans. She moves down to kiss Taeyong as she eagerly rides him. Taeyong’s in a bliss, the moans she was releasing was the only thing he could hear.
“Taeyong!” Priya speaks. “Did you hear anything I said or maybe Naz heard it? ‘Cause all I can hear is Naz sucking on your face.” She asks annoyed by how they’re not taking this anywhere seriously. Groaning, Taeyong sits up and Naz continues to ride him. Taeyong halts Naz, knowing that Priya doesn’t call anyone unless it’s serious and this sounds like it is.
“I’m sorry, what is it?” He asks trying to sound interested. Naz moves away from him with a hiss, the feeling of emptiness soon washing over her with distaste. Taeyong follows her movement towards the bathroom. She turns back to him seductively before going in and he knows where his next stop is.
“Jaehyun’s back.” Priya spits it out, again. Taeyong sat frozen in his bed. The sunlight that hit his face directly didn’t even bother him. Priya’s words were the only thing ringing in his head. “How’d you know?” He asks, his tone dead straight.
She swallows the lump in her throat, feeling glad she can finally get the weight off her chest. “Gossip Girl.” She turns to her computer, reviewing the post. “It’s there, it’s all there. The post was last night, he was spotted at Grand Central, Taeyong.”

.
Making an entrance shouldn’t be this difficult, right? Walking up the steps was nerve wracking but pretty chill. You thought it would’ve been far more dramatic with the head turning and all but none of that happened. Should you be concerned? Your mind tells you that it’s all fine, the rest at the back though is not so sure about that. You’ll have to consult Priya on that.
You made it inside in full pieces, thankfully. You stand as you examined the exterior of the school. High ceilings, brown, blue and green existing in harmony around the school, and the school is huge. This was supposed to be expected but everything is so new to you. Comparing it to Rosewood is different and it doesn’t even come close. You just hope it goes the same for the rest.
“Hi, Y/N Hastings?” A blonde woman with a bob short hair cuts your trance short. Turning you head to her, you nodded as a response. “Oh, that’s so good!” She breathes out in relief and stretches her hands to you. “I’m Ms. Hope.” You smile to her and shake her hands in response. You notice some students giving you looks for shaking the teacher’s hand. She gestures her hands to follow her and you start walking beside her towards what looks like an assembly hall.
You catch the sign and read what’s on it. “An orientation?” You unconsciously saying it aloud and Ms. Hope catches on it. “Yes.” And you pause on your track. “With freshmen students? I’m a senior.” You asked sounding unconvinced. Ms. Hope scrambles to get her words out. “N-no, it’s not like that.” She awkwardly laughs as she rubs her palms on her trousers. “An orientation for new students and transferees. You’re not the only senior here, don’t worry.” She tries her best to assure you and leads you to the back of the hall.
The chairs weren’t even chairs. It was stools that stretched long enough and students really sat side by side.
After months of convincing you (and your parents), Priya eventually managed to convince them enough to get you in Neo Crest High. How will you manage there? You don’t know, honestly. But you’ll see.
As you reached the end, you saw one guy there with his skateboard. “This is Johnny Suh, he’s new at Neo Crest.” He smiles at you and stands to shake your hand but he stands too quick to realize that his skateboard sat on top of him, making it fall to ground. You stare at each other for a while before crouching down to grab his skateboard, handing it over to him.
“Hope!” Another teacher frantically calls for Ms. Hope’s attention and then she’s gone attending to them.
Now that you’re both alone, he laughs off the whole encounter that happened and offers the seat beside him. “I’m Johnny.” He says. And you giggle at how random this is. “Y/N.” He nods and smiles. “Finally, someone who doesn’t introduce themselves with their last name.” You laugh lightly, minding your volume in a crowded room. “So, am I different then?” You ask and he nods with a cheeky smile. The orientation begins as the headmaster steps into the stage, grabbing everyone’s attention.
Standing in the corner of the room was Ms. Hope and Jack, your Algebra professor looking closely at you and Johnny. “You’re saying she shook your hands?” Ms. Hope nods, still in disbelief. “And she smiled at you?” Ms. Hope nods again, eyebrows furrowed as she watches Johnny lean in your ear and whisper something you quietly laugh to. “And she agreed to come to the orientation at all? Like no questions or anything—” Jack asks and Ms. Hope snaps at him. “Yes, Jack! She’s kind and all, that’s it.” She explains and rubs her temples. “It shouldn’t be this surprising to have a student who’s… kind.” She says. “Neo Crest breeds one of the most terrible students, I hope the best for her.” Jack whispers to Ms. Hope and leaves to his seat.
Jack’s right. Ms. Hope has been in Neo Crest long enough to know how students are and you look too kind for this scene, how did you end up here.
Your phone lights up and a text from Priya shows up.
Y: Actually, I am.
P: Don’t tell me you’re in that orientation.
P: Plssss don’t tell me you’re actually there, Y/N.
You slid your phone open and typed up a message and hit sent.
Y: what’s so bad about it lol
Y: They’re talking about changing timetables might do it laterrr
P: No you will not
P: First get out of there, like RUN and then meet me in the met steps
P: and 2nddd no timetable changing, you’re coming to a party with me tonight :(((((
Y: I’ll change after class? It’ll be quick
P: Hello?
P: kayyyy fine
“Hey, no phones.” Johnny pokes at you and you giggle at him. You catch the last message Priya sent you and you tuck your phone away.
The orientation ends right at lunch taking up your morning schedule for the rest of the day. You actually opted in staying behind for a while knowing that it’s too crowded to leave. Johnny on the other hand stands up and grabs his bag and skateboard. “Leaving already?” You ask. “Yep, gonna try and see if I can sign up for football.” He speaks.
You’re on your feet already walking by his side. Johnny intrigued you. He’s interesting. “That’s nice.” You say as you walk in the hallway. “So, what do you have now?” He asks. “Hmm, nothing really.” Lies. You’re supposed to be with Priya and her friends. “Cool.” He says and you nod, biting your lips. Should you ask him out for lunch or is it too weird? On the first day too?
“Should we get something to eat?” Johnny breaks the ice for you.
You’re a little taken back honestly but you’re glad he offered. “Yes, I’m starving.” Johnny pauses and looks at you. “You’d really go out with some guy you don’t know?” He pauses. “Well, you can’t be worse than the guys I know.” You speak, playfully nudging him. Chuckling, Johnny walks you out the school and promises to take you somewhere good. You were too focused on Johnny that you didn’t notice your phone buzzing in your blazer’s pockets.
P: met steps now
P: earth to Y/N!!!
Johnny looks straight in front. You should’ve done the same honestly but it won’t hurt looking at him a little longer. His side profile is too good to be missed. “You’re staring.” He whispers and you quickly compose yourself and stared in front into thin air. Johnny thinks it’s cute how cute you look after getting caught staring. He can feel himself getting comfortable with you.
P: your ig says ure active idk why ure ignoring me ;/
“Where’s your friend.” Jongin says as he tosses the toothpick he’s been using to pick on his teeth. Priya closes the messaging app and moves to send a direct message on Instagram. “Probably still at orientation.” She says dropping her phone one the steps.
Taeyong sat in between Naz’s legs as she played with his freshly dyed blue hair. “So, what’s the plan tonight?” She asks, looking back at Priya. Priya makes a face at Naz and points towards Taeyong. “He planned this whole party thing, ask him.” She replied a little annoyed that Taeyong’s still pushing this party thing.
Jongin laughs in shock. “Orientation? Is your friend 12?” He asks, mocking Priya. And for that, Priya only thinks that Jongin deserves to be shoved off the steps as she stretches her leg to shove him off. His undying laughter continues. “It’s not even that funny.” Priya mumbles.
“You sure you about this, yong? I mean we haven’t physically seen Jaehyun. GG probably got it wrong.” Naz speaks.
“His face and mom were in the post, of course he’s here.” Jongin speaks up and stands up. “Whatever.” Naz replies and he shrugs.
“The party will continue and can you guys stop acting as if he’s a criminal? He went away because of his dad and the least we could do is be there for him.” Taeyong speaks up. Of course, no one could never expect less from the best friend. Even when it seemed like the end of the world for the whole friendship, Taeyong was the reason why it’s still together. “And you guys have to come.” Taeyong strictly says.
“Make sure it’s invitation only.” Priya adds, knowing how messy Taeyong’s parties can get hence why she rarely attends them.
.
“Anyways, Naz let’s go max out our credit cards in Zara until we drop.” Naz laughs as she grabs her bag. “Zara? Where the wannabes shop?” She jokes and presses a kiss on Taeyong’s lips, mumbling something cheesy along the lines. “Yes, it’s fun to see them shop half their wardrobe there.” Priya adds on to Naz’s joke with a giggle. And after almost prying her off Taeyong, they make their way to destruction.
.
.
You rushed your way straight to the faculty. You were damn set on getting your timetables fixed. You’re not having four major subjects in the morning, not EVER.
The hallway was pretty empty, some students earlier from orientation ditched afternoon classes as an excuse and the rest are in class and Johnny went home after you ate lunch.
As you were hastily walking in the hallways, you were suddenly stopped by someone. You were grabbed by the arm and turned towards the culprit and your face becomes pale in shock. “Yoonoh?” You asked confused as you stare at him. He mirrors your actions, shocked by your presence in Neo Crest High.
He pulls you away towards a more secluded hall as students starts filling up the hallway.
Standing in a closed corridor away from everyone, you’re being pushed against the wall as Jaehyun stares at you in disbelief. “What are you doing here?” He asks. His heart was racing too quick it just might jump out of his chest. “I could ask the same. What are you doing here, Yoonoh?” You ask in whispers.
Jaehyun sighs and pulls you towards a secluded classroom and locks it shut. He walks towards you and he can’t stress this enough. He really couldn’t believe this.
You move to lean by the teacher’s desk in front. Once he reaches you, his arms cage around you and you bite your lips at that. He studies you and the habit he knows that you do too well. His thumb coming to pull the lip stuck in between your lips, Jaehyun lives for the way your lips look.
“What are you doing here, princess.” He asks worriedly. “To learn, Yoonoh. Obviously.” You say as you push him off you, opting to sit at one of the chairs. “And you?” You ask him back. “To learn too, I guess?” He speaks.
Silence falls between you two. It’s been long since you’ve seen him and who would’ve thought you’d meet at school again? Both of you definitely did not.
“I take you’re not new here.” You say, tilting your head as you waited for his response. He lightly laughs and drops his bag on the table, occupying your space on the teacher’s table previously. “No.” he says, memories of the school filling his mind, one of those that he has buried deep suddenly making its appearance again. He brushes it off and focuses on you.
“What really brings you here?” He asks again, moving away from the desk as he made his way to you, placing his hands on each side of the chair, face dangerously close. “Answered it already.” You challenged him, face inching close to him. And just a few seconds later, your lips are pressed against each other, cutting each other’s oxygen short.
Jaehyun moves to switch places with you, pulling you and settling you directly on his lap. You can’t do this, not in a classroom and definitely not with Jaehyun. “Yoonoh.” You breathed out as he started sucking on your neck. You should be telling him to stop but it feels so good.
Your hand moves to his neck, tugging on the hair as your breathing increased. He carries you up and settles you on the teacher’s desk, spreading your legs wide open as he gawked at the sight in front of him. This could get him weak any time. He wastes no time and tugs your panties off, head dipping in an instant. The first lick already has you grabbing the edge of the table, legs almost closing. Falling back on the desk, Jaehyun continued to eat you out like a hungry man.
He didn’t expect his first day to be like this, to be with someone he thought he would never see again, but he underestimated you. You, you, you and everything about you. Everything that charmed him from the beginning hasn’t worn off from him, it never did and he’s showing it now as he continues to eat you, fingers fitting nicely inside you as he knew every part of you that you liked best.
With one last curl of his fingers, he’s got you coming undone. The coil in your stomach snaps and brings you this intense feeling that has you grabbing at Jaehyun. Your orgasm hit you hard, back arching and toes curling. You breathed heavily as you Jaehyun rides your orgasm out with his fingers.
Swiftly pulling them out, he comes in front of you and licks it off. “Taste so fucking good, missed this.” He says as bends down to kiss your lips, tongue coming out in a French kiss to let you taste yourself off him. “Missed you.” He says pulling away. You looked at each other for a while. You bit your lips and pressed a quick peck on his lips. “Missed you more.” You say, wrapping your arms around his neck.
Jaehyun presses his hard on on your exposed core and head falls back at the mere feeling. “Fuck.” You curse at him. Your hands travel to where his belt is as you tug it off him, pushing his pants down after, your hand finds its way inside his boxers.
“Ready, beautiful?” He says as he lines himself up against you. Your hands fly to grab at his back the moment he thrusts in. Now you’re definitely not sure how you were able to take all of this before. You feel so stuffed and full that Jaehyun had to ease you back on the table to properly fuck you. He throws his head back as he continued thrusting inside you. Hand placed right on top of the bulge on your belly, he groans. “So fucking tight.” You whimper at that.
Jaehyun pops the buttons of your shirt open and sucks on your tits, along that his thrusts are relentless. Popping a tit off, he continues with sharp and hard thrusts that has you moaning and almost screaming that he had to clamp his hand on your mouth. “Take it you slut.” He says as he thrusted merciless. The grip you had on his dress shirt was strong and you’re sure it’ll rip any moment now.
Tears start brimming your eyes as you inch to your second orgasm. You unconsciously clench around him, body sending signals. Jaehyun fells like he’s in heaven as he feels your walls starting to convulse. The hand he securely has on your mouth moves to perfectly fit tight and snug around your throat and Jaehyun makes sure to deliver three sharp thrusts as you completely come undone under him. He has you gasping for air, your back arching off the table as tears start to slip from your eyes. Your orgasm got you too fucked out to realize Jaehyun pulled out and came on your stomach. Jaehyun breathed heavily, head sinking down to your neck. Pressing small kisses on it, hand massaging your thighs, he swipes the cum off with a random paper on the desk. “Fuck.” He curses.
The honk from Priya’s car was loud enough for everyone to hear, loud enough to reach you in the farthest classroom at that. “Yoonoh.” You whisper. You shake him slightly to make sure he’s not dead. “You’re not dead, right?” You ask, making sure he didn’t fuck and die on you. He laughs and pushes himself off you. “No, I did not. But that could’ve been the death of me, you’re just so fucking hot.” He jokes and you roll your eyes at him. Mocking him and mentioning how cheesy that was and he simply got you pressing kisses on his face as an apology.
The honk doesn’t die down and your phone is flooded with texts. “COME OUT. NOW.” Could be a threat, could not be one, we’ll see. “Hey, I’ve to go.” You say as you leave the classroom.
“Y/N, wait.” Jaehyun runs after you noticing that you misplaced the buttons, he fixes it for you. You do the same as you properly tuck his shirt in his pants. “Okay, enough this is too sweet.” You comment and walk away from him. You waved at him as you completely disappeared. Jaehyun was too stunned to move, his cheeks were a little flushed. Not because of the sex but because of what you said. Maybe he does get a little sweet around you. A little. Ruffling his hair, he gets back inside the classroom to quickly fix what’s left.
.
You’re a sweet girl Y/N, you should’ve known better than being seen with Jaehyun, and Jaehyun? Should’ve knew better. Did he forget? Gossip Girl is everywhere.
.
.
.
“And she graces us! Your highness.” Jongin exclaims as a joke and bows to you. You stood in the parking lot trying to process if this is normal. “Jongin.” He introduces himself with a smile. Looking around at his other friends, it seems that it is.
“Don’t mind him, he’s a joke.” A girl with curly hair speaks up. Nodding, you awkwardly laughed. “I’m Naz, you must be Y/N. Priya’s friend, right?” She speaks and makes Taeyong move to make some space for you on the bench. Patting her side, she invites you to sit. “Yeah, I am.” You reply as you move to sit at the empty space beside her. “Have you seen, Pri?” You ask. “Someone looking for me?” Priya speaks as she shows up. “Hey!” You say, standing up to give her a hug.
She pulls away and walks around you to examine your outfit. “This looks so good in real life.” She compliments your outfit.
“Oh please, you obviously put this together just to fish for compliments.” Naz turns her head to Jongin on behalf of Priya. “Jongin, shut up. You get “hand me downs” and the ugly ones at that.” Taeyong could only laugh and Jongin appears to be offended as he continues to banter back and forth with Naz about how his “hand me downs” are special.
“So, have you met everyone?” She asks. “Uhm... I’ve met Naz and… Jongin, right?” You speak, looking at Jongin. “Oh my god, you’re not this awkward Y/N.” She jokes and you laugh. You’re not, you’re pretty friendly with most, you’re not sure why you’re acting this way. Priya has made it clear that she wants you to meet her friends and you don’t want to let her down.
“Give her some time.” The guy with blue hair speaks and stands up. “Taeyong.” He says and stretches his hand. “Ew.” Jongin says. “Who shakes hands, we’re in the 21st Century.” You accept Taeyong’s hands and Jongin rolls his eyes. “Normal people Jongin, now go away.” Taeyong comments and makes himself comfortable next to Naz. “Everyday, I thank God, I’m not boring and normal like you.” Jongin shoves at Taeyong.
“Okay, so the party?” Priya starts, trying to get everyone together and looking directly at Taeyong. “At my penthouse. Dad’s club is being renovated so the penthouse has to make use.” This isn’t Priya’s party but a party with her appearance in has to be at least presentable. “Okay, what about—” Naz cuts in. “Priya, it’s good, everything’s good. Taeyong has it taken care of.” She says, calming her nerves down. “What we haven’t gotten down yet is what Y/N is wearing to the party.” Naz averts the whole party fiasco to you.
“Hey, Y/N give me your number, I’ll text you my address.” Taeyong stretches his hand out and you move to pass him your phone. “All set.” He speaks, returning it to you. You get a text a few quick seconds later from a new number along with an address in which you assume is Taeyong’s. You set him as a contact on your phone and shut it close.
Everyone’s attention is on you. “Oh, I’ll just grab whatever’s in my closet.” Priya looks at you. “And what is it in your closet?” She asks. Naz sits up. “Don’t tell me it’s Zara.” She says with faux fear in her voice but in reality, if you really do choose Zara, then that’s a red flag. “Vintage Versace?” And they both breathe out in relief. “Knew I could always trust you.” Priya speaks. “That’s one good news for today.” Naz says and the group falls into this weird and tense silence.
“Anyway,” Priya stands. “We’ll be at yours at 8. Y/N and Naz, you’re coming to mine at 7.”
You stand, following Priya. “I’ll be off too.” You say waving to the group. You and Priya separate ways as you make your way towards your car.
“But I just sent her my address…” Taeyong pouts.
.
.
.
Naz swipes her make up brush on her face and you watch how she precisely works. You tilt your head in awe. “Do you want me to do yours?” She looks back at you, sitting on Priya’s bed. You move to sit on the edge as confirmation. “Just with the eye shadow, please.” She nods and bring her brushes and palette closer to you.
“Hey.” Naz starts, applying a color on your right eye. “If you somehow feel that someone likes your boyfriend, what do you do?” She asks, catching you off guard. You freeze on the spot, shifting a little. “Uhm…” You hum, trying to come up with an answer and Naz pauses. “It’s okay, you don’t have to answer.” You laugh to ease away the unnecessary tension.
“It’s okay but how long have you and Taeyong been together?” You ask. She sighs. “For two years now, but lately something feels wrong with us.” She stops altogether, “with him.” You watch as she recomposes herself and looks to grab for another brush.
.
“Why’d do you think so?” You try to ask her, maybe she’ll open up a little so you can help her. Naz was about to speak when Priya comes in the room clearly looking to hyped. “Let’s take shots!!!!!!” She screams holding up two shot glasses. You and Naz following right after her.
.
.
.
Pulling up in front of Taeyong’s building, you didn’t know that paparazzi and media outlets would be present, I mean it’s a high school party, what’s so interesting about that?
“I can’t believe paparazzi’s here.” Naz speaks and you agree with a hum. “Does this happen a lot?” You ask, turning to Priya. Is this how the Upper East sides party? “No, ‘made a special request tonight.” Priya speaks and leans back in her seat. “For what?” Naz asks, feeling slightly annoyed at all the cameras. “For Jaehyun’s grand entrance, of course.” Priya speaks up.
Naz huffs out annoyed, falling back to her seat looking already out of it. She honestly only came for Taeyong but she’s sure Priya’s got him under control. She’s not sure what she came here for to be honest. One thing she knows for sure is she at least happy to have you here. Slipping your hand over to Naz’s side, you grab hers and squeeze it. She squeezes it back and you look at her with a smile.
“Come on, we’re here.” Priya sits up and fixes her dress. “Okay, bitches. Smile, you’re on tomorrow’s front page!”
Cameras starts flashing their lights as soon as the door of the limousine opens. The moment you step outside, everything stops in slow motion and you feel like everyone’s eyes is on you. Priya grabs at your hand and leads you the lobby, the ground laid with velvet red carpet. You look back to see Naz trailing after you. Grabbing her, you made sure your grip on both girls were tight.
You made it inside and you breathed out now that you’re inside. “That was insane.” You speak, “did I mention that was insane?” You speak again, you think all the lights flashed took your senses. “Yes, you did and there’s more.” Naz whispers the last part as she walks to the elevator with Priya. You rush to their side and mentally prepared yourself for what seems like the party of the year.
The elevator dings and comes to a stop at the highest floor and you’re completely blown away by the whole scene in front of you.
.
It’s not like you live under a rock, but you’ve only been to parties in elite clubs that has 2-3 people actually having fun in the VIP section and that’s you and your friends from back home. This is a whole crowd, a whole PENTHOUSE.
Priya leads the group to the scene, making her way past the many other people. Others pausing and asking for pictures with Naz or Priya, some giving you a look of curiosity, and definitely getting a compliment for your choice of wardrobe for tonight. The yellow vintage atelier Versace from Spring 2000’s perfectly hugging your body in the right places. The same goes for Priya in Balmain and Naz in Saint Laurent.
The moment you stepped in Taeyong’s room, it smelled like a heavy amount of weed and although you can handle a hefty amount of alcohol, weeds and drugs doesn’t sit at the same table. You absolutely hate the way it makes you feel and have sworn off it after trying some as a joke.
After what felt like sometime of walking, you finally got to what looked like a makeshift “VIP” area which is actually Taeyong’s room where everyone’s gathered. “Good job on throwing the best opening party for the year, Taeyong.” Priya comments, snaking her hand around Taeyong and pulling him away. Naz feel’s a sinking feeling set in her, deep down it’s always been there, she just doesn’t know if she’s analyzing it too much or if she should be listening to her guts.
You made your way to the bar for some drinks and to your surprise, there’s actually someone bartending. You thought this would’ve been a somewhat “freestyle your own drinks” party. You ordered a martini as a starter, well you had your starter earlier at Priya’s so this is like the actual thing now, but less strong and a little laid back.
“Hey.” Naz pops up behind you, taking the seat next to you. “What are you doing here all alone?” She asks, calling the bartender to get her what you got. “A martini won’t hurt.” You cheekily say and Naz makes an “ooh” sound of approval of your taste in alcohol. “Look, the martini can wait and I really need a dance partner.” She says through the loud bass of music playing and invites you to the dance floor.
You need no convincing further as you and Naz make the dance floor your own.
Madison Beer’s “Baby” started and playing and you and Naz start dancing and singing along. It was as if you knew each other’s body for so long now and became so comfortable with each other. Touching and feeling in all places that you’re both enjoying. Naz turned her hips around as the song played and pressed her back against yours. You swayed along with her, your hands on her hips as she giggled. This is going to be along night.
Downstairs at the main lobby, Jaehyun shows up in Prada with Jongin on his side sporting Gucci on his end. The two men looked dashing. Jaehyun was surprised with all the cameras though, he wasn’t a stranger to the media and cameras, in fact he loved it, before. Now seeing him on the first page newspaper makes him sick. Why would Taeyong even have all these crazy outlets knowing he hates such. “Don’t look too bummed, Jung. This just the beginning.” Jongin whispers, catching up to him for a photo together.
Jaehyun and Jongin makes it up to the main event, the party.
As soon as the elevator doors open, the crowd falls silent to seeing Jaehyun. Jongin steps out with Jaehyun. He didn’t spare anyone and gave them all a dead glance as he examined the crowd.
Jongin clears his throat and grabs the nearest bottle of champagne. “JUNG FUCKING JAEHYUN IS BACK.” He screams and shakes the champagne bottle open making a loud pop sound. The crowd goes wild and Jaehyun is getting all the attention. People were talking left and right. ‘Welcome back’ and asking where he’s been. Girls pressing up against him for a quick photo, some passing him drinks that he bluntly denied which made everyone more hyped than before. High school royalty and Gossip Girl deemed “Valentine Boy” is back. That’s what everyone had in their mind. Not if he’s okay or if they were there for him when his life was crashing down. He’s getting irritated just by being in the party alone.
“No fucking way.” Taeyong pushes against the crowd and meets Jaehyun right in the middle of the party. “Jung Jaehyun right in the flesh!” Taeyong screams and the crowd follows with a cheer. He pulls Jaehyun in a tight hug and starts catching up with him.
You on the other hand have ditched the dance floor for some martini due with Naz. You were too carried away with your conversation in the bar that the whole shouting and screaming for a guy named “Jaehyun” couldn’t bother you both.
Another loud scream which both of you recognized was from Taeyong erupted and both of you turn away from the scene in mutual distaste. “Who even is this, Jaehyun? Is he a close friend of yours?” You ask Naz, shouting slightly over the whole noise. You noticed some girls giving you disgusting side eyes for asking who the man was. “Does he like own the school or something?” You say, after you and Naz noticed the dirty looks given to you, laughing it off instead.
“No.” She replies taking a sip from her. “He’s not my friend and he does not own the school.” You pull back a little from her response. “If you’re not then why is Taeyong and Pri like, all excited and stuff?” You ask, sipping back on the martini. You notice Naz playing with the olive stick. Naz swallows and then speaks after the hype dies down. “I’m not really part of the friend group, I’m just… Taeyong’s girlfriend. You know?” She says and looks around, her eyes landing onto Taeyong and Priya. Taeyong’s hand settled on her lower back, dangerously down as he whispers something to Priya’s ear that makes her laugh.
You look back to where she’s looking and saw everything unfold. But you noticed someone standing right in front of them, it wasn’t Jongin. You can clearly see Jongin right beside the guy but since Taeyong is blocking the view, you couldn’t make out who.
Averting your attention back to Naz, you pulled on her hand. “Let’s go for a dance? I’ll show you a good time if you let me.” You tease her as you jokingly seduce her. She nods her head and takes her phone out. “I want a picture with you.” She speaks, and you’re immediately posing, pressed cheek to cheek in a cute but sassy photo. You take one, two pics and Naz is looking back at it with a smile on her face. “C’mon, let’s show these losers how to actually dance.” You joke as you pull Naz to the dance floor.
She pauses and let goes of you, saying something about placing her phone back in Taeyong’s room for safekeeping. You nod and continue for the dance floor. Nothing bad at dancing alone.
You sway your hips along Ariana Grande, feeling the beat as you moved to the beat. One thing you’ve come to terms with alcohol was the certain confidence it gave you and you loved it all the time. Feeling your body up, your hands made its way to your hair, unconsciously seductively flipping it to the side.
A hand sneaks to your waist while dancing and this is the other thing about alcohol. It makes your mind too fuzzy to get you thinking straight. You didn’t mind this stranger touching you, you just hope it’s someone you know. Your hand moves to grab the stranger by his neck, his hands resting on your hips as he danced with you to the beat. “Tell me something, Y/N. Does “Jung Yoonoh” ring a bell?” Your brain suddenly functions in a state you can somehow comprehend. What did he say?
You turn around to see who it was. “Jongin?” He chuckles and looks at you with eyes you can’t read, is he drunk? “I know about what you did with ‘Yoonoh’.” He speaks, voice slightly coming out slurred. He continues to the dance with you, pulling your body flush against him. “And it’s not your business, Jongin. Now shut up and continue dancing because you actually look like someone who can dance.” You say, tilting your head up, challenging him back, looking him straight in the eyes.
Jongin knows those eyes, it didn’t work on him when others did it but the way you look at him might actually get him weak. “Keep dancing, don’t let it go to waste.” You speak, moving your head back to tease him with your chest. You’re not stupid, you know what a man with needs and wants looks like. And it looks like Jongin.
Jaehyun sits at the bar watching Jongin dance closely with someone. The person looked oddly familiar and somehow, he became attracted to her. He moves to ask Taeyong who it was. “Oh, that? I’m not sure, let me ask one of the girls.”
And just on time, Naz comes back with Priya tagging along not looking too happy.
“You don’t look happy.” Taeyong comments as he drinks his beer. Priya on the other hand is not taking his alcohol attitude. “Check Gossip Girl. NOW.” She says, pulling her phone out and showing him the post.
And suddenly, everyone’s phones collectively started getting a notification bell or alert in the middle of the party and started checking what it’s all about.
On the other side of the room was you and Jongin pressed up against each other, enjoying each other’s body. While you were busy dancing, everyone was dishing on the newest gossip. Jongin already has a hitch what is it and simply continues dancing with you. A grin splayed across his face.
Jaehyun could honestly care less about that terrible page, but something about it caught his eyes when he took a peek at Priya’s phone and just like that, the gadget is snatched by him reviewing what’s said.
And, there’s more. Spotted: leaving Mr. Higgs’ classroom in a haste comes out Valentine boy with a disheveled looking Hastings heiress on the first day. J or Y? Your pick Jaehyun. As if we can brew more tea in the pot, it just keeps getting hot and heavy. Take notes, Valentine boy and watch your back, Heiress. You don’t know who’s out to get you. Waiting for the drama. –XOXO, Gossip Girl.”
“This just in: A tip from one of my closest sources says; Valentine boy’s mysterious disappearance was not so mysterious after all. You can now drop all the “boarding school” theories and dish on this. Y/N and Jaehyun or should I say “Yoonoh” looking too cozy in Italy. Drinking flutes of champagne, kissing at the beach, and having what looks like a romantic date, Y/N and Jaehyun knew each other all along. “Strangers” in disguised? Not for long.
