Letters to Brian || Fanfic

A tale of Amy and Rory living in New York, occasionally running into The Doctor in incarnations you could only pick out from the outrageous outfits he wore. They never really interact, just watch from afar and wish him the best. 

Rory sends letters to his father still, hoping he'd always read them and smile.

3/7/1830 -

Dear Dad

It's the first day of me an Amy living here. You wouldn't believe where we arrived, it was so strange. We'd appeared out of thin air across the street from each other right in the middle of New York, scaring multiple day-goers with our modern clothes and sudden arrival. We hoped we hadn't changed too much of the future, since messing with time {like The Doctor said} was very dangerous and could cause all sort of trouble.

We soon found someone that would let us stay the night in their home, letting us borrow clothing from them until we'd gotten a little money and gotten a place to stay ourselves. It soon turned into days, even weeks. Amy stayed home most of the time, helping our lovely boarders Joanne and Brain Cairstars with their home. I got a job at a factory, earning a lot more money than I expected.

Brain and Joane helped us a lot through our tough time, hardly asking what had happened to us. There were similar to you and mum, always accepting and never asking questions before knowing the story. Just yesterday Joanne had found out she was having a son, who she was to call Rorian. She said that Amy and myself were the strangest and most brilliant things that she had happen to her and our presence must have brought shine to their house. I actually agree with her. When we first came the house was dreary and falling apart, but we'd come along and helped them see better days.

We haven't gotten enough money to move yet, but we certainly are buying for ourselves. Well, when Brain and Joanne don't insist on helping us with their gratitude. It's hard to refuse.

Well, the dinners ready and Amy wants to talk. I'll write to you again soon.

Because if I’m right, they could have been still alive.

I’m am mind-fucking myself thinking about this.

So, they’re stuck in New York 50 years before Rory was born, and Rory was something like, I don’t know, mid/late-twenties? 

If I can get the year Rory was born, or Even Amy, I could mind fuck you all. Because I am insane.

HAS ANYONE ELSE EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT THIS? He would be about the same age as my Grandpa, and he’s not even in his 80s yet!

He was 32 when he was sent back in time. In P.S. he says they were sent back 50 years before he was born. He died sometime within the year when he was originally born. Which, if we assume the events of season 7 take place in 2012, would have been 1980.

Rory was most likely born in 1989, since he and Amy appeared to be classmates.

Moffat's Warriors

I think we need to make a movement to show him that we don’t all hate him. That some of us actually respect him as a person and love his work.

I propose that we name it Moffat’s Warriors (as a homage to Watson’s Warriors). Just write things like “I support Moffat” or something like that.
