December last year I got an anal fissure and since then I havent been able to bottom, so yes, its been over 6 months of no bottoming at all, which is a crazy thing to have happen to you because it demonstrates how you will lose everything else. One day you can do something, the next you just kindof cant, except later in life when you lose something like that it can just be gone for good, like bricks off a skyscraper, until one day you just creak and snap and curl over and return to the earth all at once.

I think ill be able to bottom again after months of sitz baths and diltiazem creams. I hope. But... I just cant stop thinking of how casually loss happens. No alarms, no fanfare. You can just wake up to something being gone.

Unions in America are so fucking liberal. I had a New York Union Organizer complain about how rough the Democratic primaries were.

My brother in Satanael, unions are the foundation of socialism. The entire function of unions is for the workers to seize the means of production. Why in the fuck was your union going against the Democratic Socialists?

Pre-1960s unions were actually mostly socially progressive, but once Nixon came into power he leaned into getting the appeal to white working class conservatives who were feeling alienated by the anti-war movement and other social changes of the era as a means of driving a wedge between them and the Democrats.

This in turn lead to things like the 1970 New York Hard Hat Riot where a bunch of construction workers were incited to attack an anti-war protest, where they beat the protestors with their tools, hats, and steel-capped boots.

So yeah, conservatives hijacked them by cynically exploiting worries about the massive social changes in the 1960s, as they knew a united front would lead to the kind of social change the guys in charge didn't want.

From then you have things like the Clintons seeing the unions as an impediment to their plans for global change and so on, and while not all unions are or were conservative, culturally a lot of them are stuck in the mindset of people who thought that Richard Nixon was a trustworthy guy with valuable points.

A quick aside, but Satanism is mostly based on Ayn Rand, so, there's that.

Yeah, a lot of it was the Clintons. Back in the 90s, if you didn't believe in exploiting Third World slaves, you were a racist.

Satanael is a gnostic figure and not at all associated with Satanism. I am atheist and Ayn Rand is an objectivist(also atheist), a derivative of Niezche’s Nihilism. The founder of American Satanism was inspired by Rand’s take on egoism which aligns with Anarcho-Capitalism but Rand herself despised all mysticism or occultism.

Here is a thing about derivatives of philosophy: they take one aspect of previous idea and apply to their own.

Socialism/Marxism is a derivative of Hegel’s dialectical thought but Hegel wasn’t talking about Dialectical Materialism and Class Consciousness. Nihilism is a derivative of Objectivism, Nazism, Socialism, and Anarchism. None of those ideas are the same or remotely relatable. It’s very much a “I like pickles… so you hate cucumbers” situation.

Also, to comment some more information about the fall of the American Union:

I agree that unions up until the 1940s were pro communist, but the fall of the union in America has a slightly earlier date in my opinion, around 1946, when the Taft-Hartley Act was enacted. It was one of the most devastating blows to worker organizing dealt by the capitalist class. One of its worst effects was forcing all union leaders to sign affidavits proclaiming that they were not communist in order to continue leading their unions.

This, combined with the subsequent cold war McCarthy witch hunts which put communists on the defensive, effectively exorcized communist influence from most american labor unions while also forcing communists into silence for almost an entire generation.

But let it be known, most labor unionizing organized on American soil from 1900-1946 was influenced or directly lead by the American Communist Party of the time. 1946 is when that party was effectively killed through legal measures, castrating and neuralyzing the American union for decades to come.
