I caved in and made a blog for Twisted Wonderland stuff and Yuu's Sentient Teddy Bear series. Everything is based on the JP ver. of TWST (so all current events and chapters) but I will warn of any ENG ver. spoilers. Reblogs are allowed and you may tag me!

Unlike prev events, where the prizes were randomized, I’ll be judging them this time! I’ll be judging on execution and thoughtfulness with the theme. Don’t worry about having to be elaborate! If it fits the theme and includes one of the muses, it’s all good.
Fics can just be interactions with other canon characters or take the form of x readers. 600 words min and no max limit!

Hello, everyone! Can you believe that it's been nearly 5 years since I started this blog on a whim, wanting to write for TWST and post silly things about visual-novel development? I never thought that my writing would attract thousands of wonderful people, neither that my little hobby would lead to writing well over 500K words of content. Between fics, head-cannons, a visual novel, and now a mystery romance that I plan to publish on ao3. It's kind of wild, y'know? I've made some good friends on this site, shared work with some really great mutuals, and really just found lots of love in exploring communities.
Which...now leads me into the second part of this announcement. The part that took days of convincing myself to make, because I was stubborn and prideful and a bit ashamed.
If you've followed me for years, interacted with me, or are one of my good friends -- you know that back in 2023 I was diagnosed with a chronic, autonomic nervous system disorder called POTS (Postural-Orthostatic-Tachycardiac Syndrome). As the years have progressed, it's severity has only gotten worse. I've found my entire life flipped upside down, and when paired with cardiac problems and other issues...ah, it's been a difficullt journey. I had to drop out of college, take loans to pay my bills, and have lost 6 jobs while trying to find one that I can function with. Some I lasted a bit of time at - others I barely started before an accident happened that lead to resigning. One was this past week. My sixth opportunity, I nearly caused an accident that I likely would not have recovered from.
So, I'm out of work with no clear direction for a time. Between my loans, medical costs, and other needs from the past three years - I need to raise about 30k to make a clean slate going forward. I know. It's a hefty sum, but I need to start finding a way. A dollar from ten different means makes 10, which is 10 more than what I started with.
And...I know it's kind of silly. This idea just came to me while I was brainstorming for hours, because I've been writing on here for many years, and I thought 'If I could do a commission for every person who follows me, then it may just be enough'. I feel like those commercials on cable tv that go 'if everyone gave a dollar then all the puppies can have shelter for the winter' - and I used to hate those commercials because they'd make me so sad. Except I understand why they air, because it's true. If everyone who watched them DID donate a dollar, then I bet a lot of dogs would have a warm bed.

One another part of my neverending quest to have the halloween boys as part of other events. Ghost Bride with Ramshackle but Eliza knows Swing because Swing robbed her castle when she was still alive.
Beans day where Ramshackle is on the Monsters side and no one can hit Fellow and Gidel, but Swing is on a rampage.
Stuck in the Book with Stitch with Rollo and Skully, but Rollo's relaxed and Skully has a body.

Summary: Ramshackle looks at you, a child worn and scared, and takes you into its abode. Maybe, one day, you will think of it as a home.
Ramshackle Dorm used to go by another name.
It's been so long that it didn't remember the name it used to go by.
Once a well-known dorm with bustling students and magic abound.
Gradually, other dorms appeared, and the dorm's students waned.
Over time, there were no students at all.
With time, the upkeep stopped.
Till it was forgotten.
The dorm grew dormant.
It didn't see a need to keep awake.
So imagine its surprise when a child showed up one day.
Worn and scared with the headmaster. It didn't understand why the headmaster couldn't take you to the other dorms, nor did it understand why he left you with the intruding cat and the ghosts who made themselves home centuries ago.
Maybe your stay would be temporary. There would be no way that the headmaster would leave a young one like you in such a decrepit place for a long time.
It hoped.
When you cried in the middle of the night, it wished it could turn on the hearth or close the holes in the walls to comfort you, give you warmth.
You and your cat gave it a new name.
Ramshackle Dorm.
In times past, it would be a name it would have scorned.
But now? It couldn't.
Not when you affectionately gave it to them.
And especially not when you quietly whispered, "We've both been abandoned, huh?"
You patted the walls. It could feel your trembling hands, "Don't worry, I'll take care of you. I got you."
That was when it knew it would carry the name with pride, and it would care for you and your little cat.
Ramshackle didn't care for when the redhead disturbed your sleep, but seeing you perk up it let the rude one slide.
When you came back injured from a tournament, it couldn't help but worry.
Why did you have to get hurt?
It wished it had extra blankets it could give you during the cold.
If only it had magic like centuries ago.
When you got kicked out of your home, yes, your home, by two students from Octavinelle.
Ramshackle Dorm did not let it slide.
The audacity to hurt one of its own? How dare they?
It made sure the twins suffered from broken floors and unopened doors.
Their screams and yelps were heard long into the night.
You had walks with Malleus Draconia nowadays.
He as a student it knew well. Someone who admired the dorm even in its decrepit state.
It approved of you making more friends.
Two souls lost and alone would make great friends.
When you didn't return home after your kitchen duties, the fairies from the kitchen told of your whereabouts.
Ramshackle eased when you returned home.
But it couldn't help the worry when it saw the burn marks on you.
It didn't care for the extra guests that came to stay at their home.
Nor the criticisms or downgrading comments about its condition.
How dare these young ones take for granted the land on which they stand?
If they knew the truth, they wouldn't be speaking such disgraceful words.
It didn't like these new students.
"We'll be having new guests for a while," you patted it gently on the walls, "Only for a little bit, okay? Then we can doll you up a little more from the prize money."
But you did it for your home, so it saw no reason to cause them trouble.
…maybe it'd play some tricks to get you to smile, and as a form of revenge.
Ramschackle was content to see you surrounded by your peers.
A happier aura to your usual manner.
It was furious.
Intruders.
Intruders broke into its dwelling and not only took those in its care, but also hurt you and took the students??
How dare such a crime be committed on their sacred grounds?
Grim and the students tried their best to fight back, but they couldn't against powers stronger than them.
Ramshackle could only helplessly observe as they were taken.
That day, The Ramshackle dorm made a decision.
It would not stand by and watch anymore.
It started gathering magic and its dwelling changed: rooms once locked opened, land once barren started growing, cracking walls mended-but it wasn't quick enough.
The magic needed to awaken its powers would take a while.
The portal to the dorm still lay dormant.
It was thanks to ancient Draconia magic that Ramschackle was able to gather magic more quickly.
The Magic of nature more healing than any other kind.
It wasn't happy for the trouble the dragon heir gave you.
But it would give him a pass, since he was long a companion of the dorm and a friend of yours.
Now, it could plan.
Ramshackle Dorm settled quietly.
The young ones had a sleepover today.
Laughter and jokes in the air.
It had missed this feeling.
The ghosts made sure everyone was covered in blankets, while it closed the windows and the curtains.
It increased the flames in the hearth, making sure the young ones slept comfortably.
What a lovely home it had become.
Now that time had passed by, and it had recovered its magic.
It was time to talk to the magic mirror.
Its students needed the protection, and a new founder needed to be placed.
You would have a place here for however long you called it home.
For that's what it would be.
Your home.
In the mirror chamber, the Dark Mirror awakens, beckoned by magic it doesn't recognize.
A proud and esteemed one has been chosen.
One whose power is veiled with the power of darkness.
The fairest and proudest flower of evil.
In Hall of Mirrors, the sound of rumblings is heard.
What once was a wall broke, revealing a mirror concealed for centuries.
The campus thrums with energy.
Only those tuned into magic would notice.
A message was sent to all.
A dorm that had long slept has now awakened.
A new founder has been chosen.
Now, Night Raven College will welcome them anew:

I had this finished earlier but then I kept adding onto it more and had more ideas/easter eggs to tack on, and then time escaped me lolol 😂😂
Some Notes:
I love the idea of Ramshackle Dorm being alive and caring for you.
I used the pronouns “it” for Ramschackle Dorm and struggled a bit. It was the first time I used ‘it’ so many times as a pronoun. But I like to think it came across well.
Ramshackle Dorm is limited in knowledge that’s why most of its perspective is limited. It only knows what you go through when you are at home and when you talk about it there. Even so, as a sentient being in-tuned with magic it can communicate with others, like fairies, about what is going on but it needs magic.
The burn marks in book 4 is alluding to Yuu getting burns from the dessert and Jamil’s ob.
I also love the idea of the twins having trouble at ramshackle for kicking us out in book 3.
And book 5, it would not be happy about the criticisms either lolol
Malleus has ramshackle approval because he visited. He was another constant companion.
The sleepover scene technically takes place after Grim’s new SSR, but it can be read alone.
The lines that is spoken to the Dark Mirror is a combination of the lines Crowley speaks in the prologue and the Dark Mirror lines when you summon a SSR.
Ramshackle Dorm lines are more caring and respectful towards you than Crowley’s are because it cares for you while Crowley’s version gives more of a “cold” attitude.
Speaking of the Dark Mirror, it didn’t recognize Ramshackle dorm magic because the dorm has been dormant for centuries. The mirror only has been sorting for the past 100 years and this was a way to show it and even that the Dark Mirror doesn’t know everything.
I have been having so many ideas that’s Yuu/MC related 😂😂💞💞 literally my 1k+ works has been mainly focused on them. But I love it, there’s so much you can do with them and different characters and all the possibilities.
I like to think all the dorms and magic infused areas are ‘sentient’ to a degree. Something about magic and nature you know? Gives that feeling of being alive. In reality, everything is filled with life in nature. For example, animals and plants. Hence why something like magic and nature like in twst, gives me the feeling of being alive.
I also think it would be funny if the dorm is this tired out being, a being that kind of gave up after everything—losing its name, students, magic, and even upkeep—and then it meets you. Someone who is alone and tired and you two bond. It learns to care for you, it remembers the past, and it has a purpose again. So, it chooses to change and protect you and the little home you have made. It has a reason to prosper once again. I think that’s beautiful. What have we learned if not to love is to be changed?
I also like to think because they are old they have this…hmmm elderly feel to them? Like, they care but they are also stubborn. A little stuck to the past but also changing. If that makes sense. Kind of like Lilia lolol.
