Twitter Art Exhibit this year is over but for those of you who missed it, this was my contribution to support the First Nation People of Canada.

I love the madness of seeing wet paint create magic before my eyes. Great vibrant vibe with the red!

It feels good to just take up a pastel and sketch. Creative and carefree. There is a great satisfaction in getting a finished result quickly.

On to the next project but not quite decided quite what yet.

Looking back 12 years when I joined my art workshop. My first sketch.

Every new member of ‘Les Passagers de L’Art’ has to sketch a tree as a rite de passage into our atelier. So Wednesday last we welcomed three new members who asked to see all the generations of different tree sketches. So happy to reconnect with my roots once again.

Here is one of my submissions for a local art exhibition which choses to honour our trees and regional forests this year. I love drawing nature however my last tree sketch dates back 10 years ago! Art work in progress at the moment. It started off as cherry blossoms but I all of a sudden I had a pink overload moment and covered it with blue.
