* bad boy.
ywcjamesâ:
[ â ]
   suddenly, one of the front wheels got jammed on something in the road and james was sent tumbling into the empty street. perhaps his balance had deteriorated over the past few years. âman down, man down!â he shouted dramatically to the girl that he had been hanging out with (and showing off to) â yang sunhwa. he wasnât really hurt, minus a dull ache in his knee from the impact, but he made no effort to move. he simply laid on his back on the pavement, staring up at the sky.
jamesâ invitation to spectate had come as a surprise to sunhwa. not to say they didnât get along, but with recent developments, sheâs found herself drifting further and further away from any friends who stood on jojaâs side. she understands circumstances and opinions, but in the end, she just canât bring herself to fully accept it.
his attempt at reconnecting did tug on her heartstrings, though, and she concedes with a smile as they go on their merry way. she has an idea of what he has in mind by the skateboard in his hand, but thereâs a bit of mystery as to where he plans on using it. the paths in yangwon werenât exactly the smoothest. pebbles strewn about, dirt, and uneven bricks laid as obstacles everywhereâah, but she supposes he could see them as a challenge.Â
which seems to be the case as she sits by his chosen location, chin resting on her hands idly. she gives him the occasional applause at tricks well-done, but remains mostly an observer until the accident.Â
âjames!â she calls out in a panic as she jumps to her feet and runs over to him. âi told you the rocks were going to be a problem!â the scolding tone in her voice contrasts his laid-back attitude about the situation, but she doesnât notice until she gets closer.Â
âare...are you okay?â a frown of both confusion and concern arises on her features as she looks down at him. âyou didnât hit your head, did you?â
