Satyr Recolors Part 1

Recolors for @eachuisge-cc's digitigrade satyr legs using @serindipitysims's Historian and Scientist palettes, and another matched to @berryqueercc's Otherworld Colors.

The low fade markings and hooves layer over top of leggings, as seen on the sim on the far right. Hooves aren't recolored, just separated from the originals.

💜 How does it work?

This CC creates basically an empty CAS item with the whole purpose to mark when a new category starts. This can be useful if you have a lot of skin details for example and don’t know which ones work together as EA has not separated the parts (e.g. forehead crease, freckles) into separate categories. This CC is not meant to be applied to a Sim and has no texture or model.

i'll probably share them this weekend but i don't feel like fighting with the emission (glow) map for the vampires and werewolf eyes rn so i might just exclude those two :p

Clean Slate CAS Overrides

Using this tutorial, I created 40 new CAS default sims. You know, the sims that pop up as soon as you open CAS? This turns them into custom ones. (Humans only, sadly)

They have no clothes, no accessories, no anything. All their outfits are a completely clean slate so you can get started creating with minimal clicking.

They're also available as plain tray files here, so you can use them like any other family (if you don't want to use the overrides, or if you just want to pick a specific sim out of the pile. They're broken up into groups of 5 sims.)

I threw in an added bonus with the tray files, alien base sims! I don't know if there's a way to make occult CAS defaults, but I made some base sims you can use the regular way nonetheless.

All the tray files are also available on the gallery (username: exculis)

This is one billion percent optional, but if you're looking for more CAS QoL stuff, I also made a mod that prevents the auto-fashion choice filter, you can find that here

It's October which means it time for anything spooky and witchy! So here's something that will add a little more spookiness to any of your witch sims! There are 3 types of swatches of different lengths with a less intense option for a total of 6 swatches. I love the look of witches being depicted with the black stained fingers so this was something I just had to make. I hope you enjoy!

Minimalist CC Icon (CC Wrench Replacement Mod)

I made this for personal use, but @deelishsimmer98 asked if I could share it, so here it is! It replaces the blue wrench banner on CC thumbnails in CAS and build mode to a more easy-on-the-eyes white “cc” text icon (or white dot for custom swatches).

BARBIE EARRINGS BY QWERTYSIMS

Happy Simblreen! I saw these earrings on pinterest and decided to take a crack at making them. I think it turned out really good. Barbie’s head uses a mini edited version of savvy by @tekri​ so big thanks to them and their awesome TOU! Everything else on the doll is plain old maxis brows, skin, eyes & liner. You can download the psd to customize the doll with other skin details and things but make sure that you’re following all the creators TOU’s if you want to put it up for download. If you’re confused by the psd, I threw together a quick video tutorial here as well. Enjoy! 👻🎃
