Greetings bugs and worms!
This comic is a little different than what I usually do but I worked real hard on it—Maybe I'll make more infographic stuff in the future this ended up being fun. Hope you learned something new :)
If you are still curious and want to learn more about OCD, you can visit the International OCD Foundation's website. I also recommend this amazing TED ED video "Starving The Monster", which was my first introduction to the disorder and this video by John Green about his own experience with OCD.
The IOCDF's website can also help you find support groups, therapy, and has lots of online guides and resources as well if you or a loved one is struggling with the disorder. It is very comprehensive!
Reblog to teach your followers about OCD
(But also not reblogging doesn't make you evil, silly goose)

absurd use of “shine on you crazy diamond” i love it
No, it actually isn't.
Under capitalism, people who work hard get their income and then spend it on their own necessities, which flows the cash back into the economy. Rich people existing is not money being stolen from hardworking folk. That's not how that works.
That’s not necessarily true though, hard work doesn’t guarantee you the proper income. The value of the average laborer has barely moved while the value of those with greater power and more money has jumped significantly. I find it hard to imagine that a CEO does 100x more work than his average employee, but he certainly gets paid 100x more than them.
In the past this gap was a lot more reasonable, the CEO only made about 10x more. But the gap continues to widen and there’s no signs of it stopping.

Skip Google for Research
As Google has worked to overtake the internet, its search algorithm has not just gotten worse. It has been designed to prioritize advertisers and popular pages often times excluding pages and content that better matches your search terms
As a writer in need of information for my stories, I find this unacceptable. As a proponent of availability of information so the populace can actually educate itself, it is unforgivable.
Below is a concise list of useful research sites compiled by Edward Clark over on Facebook. I was familiar with some, but not all of these.
⁂
Google is so powerful that it “hides” other search systems from us. We just don’t know the existence of most of them. Meanwhile, there are still a huge number of excellent searchers in the world who specialize in books, science, other smart information. Keep a list of sites you never heard of.
www.refseek.com - Academic Resource Search. More than a billion sources: encyclopedia, monographies, magazines.
www.worldcat.org - a search for the contents of 20 thousand worldwide libraries. Find out where lies the nearest rare book you need.
https://link.springer.com - access to more than 10 million scientific documents: books, articles, research protocols.
www.bioline.org.br is a library of scientific bioscience journals published in developing countries.
http://repec.org - volunteers from 102 countries have collected almost 4 million publications on economics and related science.
www.science.gov is an American state search engine on 2200+ scientific sites. More than 200 million articles are indexed.
www.pdfdrive.com is the largest website for free download of books in PDF format. Claiming over 225 million names.
www.base-search.net is one of the most powerful researches on academic studies texts. More than 100 million scientific documents, 70% of them are free
Reminder that libraries are literally foe this purpose. If you go to a public library with a research question you will make their day.
ngl when a character is dressed sexy for no reason its not sexy. i get so distracted by weird nonsensical character design that i cant get into it. this is about dragon age origins btw. i met the sexy witch lady or whatever and all i can do is sit there and be like "ma'am what about living in the woods with your mom compelled you to wear a full set of makeup and a skimpy outfit"
to be clear this isnt me not wanting sexy fantasy outfits if you know my work you know i can get horny with it i just think its lame when designs try to hard to be horny when it doesnt even make sense
context is the sexiest thing in the world and there is NOT ENOUGH OF IT
