Kidding. I’m actually sad there’s no video footage of you jamming out to the song right now. Does it make you feel better about yourself if I tell you that I taught a couple of friends the Bet On It choreography sometime this year and therefore had to watch the scenes over and over again because I forgot it and then I ended up listening to the whole soundtrack of the second movie for days? I don’t think I have any other guilty pleasure music I listen to or maybe others would consider it a guilty pleasure but I myself don’t.
Dude my wife loves you there’s really no surprise I ended up knowing the songs somehow. If I can find someone to record me I’ll send you a video of it for your eyes only. That’s some dedication! Can you teach me some moves? I’m not the best dancer.

I mean, who doesn’t have a guilty pleasure song am I right? I know mine was Camp Rock, but also a mix of Moana… I mean you have to admit when you hear You’re Welcome, you wanna belt it out, don’t lie.
Okay this is the second time someone has mentioned that song, maybe I should really go watch Moana now. I can’t even say I know that song so there would be no belting along but maybe that will change once I hear it if I want to get to know it.

Dude, you’ll catch me singing Moana and that’s my cousin that plays Maui, so you can only imagine how much You’re Welcome has gotten stuck in my head, plus How Far I’ll Go.
Can you believe I still haven’t seen that movie in it’s entirety? I think I’ve just seen the first few minutes of it. Am I missing out? Should I watch it now?

You know what might be a bit worse, getting Baby Shark stuck in your head. My one-year-old is obsessed with it and will literally run around the house clapping her hands to it if she hears my mom playing it for her haha. My soon to be one month old isn’t there yet, which thank god because having two doing it oh gosh.
Oh you’re absolutely right, that’s 10 times worse. Hopefully by the time the one month is old enough there will be a new much less annoying fad they can follow.

Oh very cool. I got my mom tickets to see it when it was in New York for Christmas a few years back, she loves anything ABBA and Mama Mia so she was pretty stoked about it. I bet you’re a great actress. If for some reason we’re ever in London I’ll be sure to make sure my mom gets to one of your shows. Maybe I’ll even tag along this time, usually I just leave that to my wife but it could be a fun outing.

There are a lot of guilty pleasure music that I listen to, but I’ve been getting myself into music that I never thought I would get into and there is a lot of music that I haven’t heard before. However, I’m glad I’m allowing my ears to listen to this music that I just discovered and I absolutely love it!
I know what you mean. I heard a few k-pop songs that were pretty good recently and I was surprised. I didn’t think it would be my thing but I think with an open mind it could really be anyone’s thing. What all have you been listening to lately? I could use some good new music.

i always find myself listening to my friend, amanda’s music whenever i need music to listen to and don’t want to listen to anything else. and i know she’s my friend and i feel like i’m suppose to say this, but amanda makes some amazing covers for anime openings and endings, so you can see why i would listen to it when the mood calls for it.
We all have our thing, that actually sounds pretty dope. Would I know any of her stuff?

Well, it’s more like a well-known fact about me if you know me quite well, but my wife’s music has been guilty pleasure music to me ever since I met her back in 2017 and got to know her. Hell, her recent album, Skin & Earth is my all-time favorite album of hers and I always find myself humming along to the songs when I think I’m alone. And I’ve been finding myself listening to her older stuff from before we met.
My wife has a few of her songs on a playlist so I’m familiar and actually really like her stuff, nothing guilty about it man. She’s very talented.

Well, I’ve never seen any of those films in their entirety, yet I somehow know all the words to Bet On It regardless? It was seriously all over the place. I can’t say I have any music I’m particularly ashamed of on my playlist, though. Just that I’m so far behind on most current music that people judge for my never having heard some apparently popular songs before.
I’m pretty sure I’ve only ever seen the first one and I can’t even remember why. It could have been because it was just on when I turned the TV on once and I never changed it but I can’t imagine why I would’ve subjected myself to that. My wife and teammates are good at keeping up with the current hits so I hear them usually from her or in the locker room otherwise I would probably be in the same boat. I really like Christen music too like Hillsong for example and get judged for that all the time but not like it’s gonna stop me.

I think we all get like that at some point, I can’t remember, I tend to sing Frozen a lot, but that’s also because my niece got me addicted to it because she kept watching it over and over again haha.
The only good thing about that movie are the reindeer and Olaf. Let It Go makes me want to cut my ears off but I guess you can have a pass since it’s all in the name of your niece. Not that High School Musical is really any better and I don’t even think I have an excuse for knowing some of the songs.
