Rope by Alfred Hitchcock (1948)
'Rope' was Hitchcock's first Technicolor film. The film is shot entirely in one apartment, with long takes, minimum editing and real life performance, the film became one of Hitchcock's most experimental works.
The film has also become a queer classic. Phillip and Brandon are implicitly portrayed as a couple in the movie; small details leave an air of tension. The rope, the touches, the glances; everything creates an implicitly homosexual atmosphere.
The film is a classic; the more you watch it, the better it gets. It's enchanting!!!
I've put up a website with better information! :'') Sorry for any mistakes!!
