“Thank you. Thanks for everything.” “Ah, hah, it was just a road.” “No. It was much more than that.”
I'VE FIGURED IT OUT
So the subject of the Cars universe and babies is a very sensitive, controversial issue. There have been many arguments over the subject, implausible theories, broken hearts, etc. I’ve been warned against the struggles.
I just don’t care.
So I’ve typed out the thought process that I had in the middle of the night.
The parent cars fill out paperwork and such, explaining their make, model, paint color id number, etc. and the paperwork gets mailed off to the factory. The desk job types in the factory review the parents info and background, to make sure they’re not going to put the child in a dangerous situation. Once it’s approved, the factory gets to work on the baby car. When it’s finished, the baby is loaded into the “Stork’s Co.” trailer and shipped off to the parents. The whole ordeal takes about nine months.
So then, when the child is delivered, it’s not quite /alive/ yet. The parents have to use jumper cables and spark the carchild to life, which is how it gets similar traits to it’s parents. From there it’s up to them to teach the baby to park, drive, reverse, etc. and until then, the child is in neutral and the parents have to tow it (the car equivalent of carrying a baby until it can walk by itself). And every once in a while as the child grows older they replace parts to allow them to get bigger.
Anyway, that’s just what I thought. It makes sense to me, but let me know what you think. Credit to @cruzramirez51 for the spark plug idea. Now, go forth and change the world!
have this unfinished drawing I was doing with SalQueen and the first two kids haha
