This is a snippet from my new Voidwalker fic where Bob and his comic sidekick Billy are estranged brothers

It wasn't stalking. At least that's what Bob told himself on nights when he couldn't sleep and started scrolling endlessly through Instagram. The account was public after all, anyone who knew anything about Billy could find it, it hadn't even taken him five minutes once he really started looking. There were so many William Turners in the world, some young some old. There was a brief moment when he started looking he thought he might never find him among the thousands of profiles. There were Wills, and Bills and Willie's and Liam's some how, but he'd found the one that mattered. Only halfway down the first page, a tiny circular photo of him in front of Tampa Bay, his wide eyes and bright smile partially obscured in the sun, torso drwarfed by an oversized dolphins jersey. His one and only Billy.

After recent events in my life, I can’t help but think that Edmund must be afraid of thunderstorms—and not just storms, but any loud noise. In fact, it’s not just him; it’s all the Pevensies. Peter is afraid too; every clap of thunder sparks fear—the thought that it isn't just nature raging. Yet he has no right to show his fear, knowing the younger ones might be even more terrified. (Yes, in the movie, Edmund stands by the open window at the beginning of the film and smiles, but the human psyche is a complex thing; in the moment, you might not feel fear—you might be calm, even amused or intrigued. It’s merely a defense mechanism; the real fear sets in later, once the realization hits.)

Caspian is surprised to find King Edmund—a veteran of many battles—flinching at the peals of thunder and drawing the curtains shut. Edmund struggles to explain that it is not the storm itself he fears. He tries to tell Caspian about it; though Caspian does not understand exactly what kind of weaponry Edmund is describing, he offers comfort and reassurance, promising that such things do not—and never will—exist in their world. As the years pass, the fear gradually recedes and the storm becomes nothing more than an ordinary storm; yet, whenever the weather rages, Caspian makes sure to stay close, holding him with an especially tender embrace.

I am pissed about the way people are acting about the Cooper Hoffman cyclops casting rumor. Listen I understand if he is not who you envisioned for the role and your are upset, but again this is a rumor! Second of all the MCU can lightwash and whitewash and cast non-jews as jews and interchange ethnicities at will and have abusers and bigots on their cast and no one has shit to say but god forbid an actor has the tiniest bit of body fat and the entire world needs to come to a halt so we can remind a fat man he's fat.
