“ oh, zakir, did i get you blushin’ ? you see a little red. ” were the sole words falling from adala her plump lips the moment she caught sight of the vaguely familiar figure, from only the corner of her eyes. although considering the bright red colour of his face paint, one would argue that he was hard to miss in a crowd of largely black. “ i have heard whispers about your costume going around, who would’ve known you went all out ? ” emerald hues simultaneously focused on his image, flickering up and down to perhaps … take it all in. “ i’ve been pleasantly surprised, ” with that, the brunette had merely shrugged, merely shooting a half smile in his direction. “ just tell me though, are you warming my seat for me before i descend down to hell and become its ruler ? or isn’t that what you once told me. ”
Zakir fought the way his eyes tried to roll into the back of his head with the way she spoke, lips curved into a lazy smile. “You caught me,” he told her, looking down to observe the state of the poor paint job he’d done on his body. In all honesty, it was looking a little worse for wear. The red was beginning to crack and slide from the way his body was sweating. “I feel like I’m always hot topic around these parts. Dunno if it’s my beautiful face or the new asshole stalker image I’ve managed to develop. So, really it’s no surprise that people are running their mouths again,” he said somewhat snootily, nose upturned. He held this pose for a few seconds before flawlessly moving back to a more relaxed position. Watching the way her eyes raked over him, he cocked his head to the side and looked at Adala. “So, what are you meant to be? Surely not a little tart?” His tone was joking and light, but something in his head niggled at him to clarify that he wasn’t being serious. “I was kidding, in case you couldn’t tell. The people have spoken and the people say I’m a misogynist for turning a girl down for some sex, so,” he shrugged. Cackling at her reference to one of their earlier arguments, he shrugged. “No, you’re too angelic. Look at that baby face.”
