If you love Paris half as much as I do, I’d say your bias is pretty strong. I’ve only been a couple times, but it’s one of my favorite vacation spots. Such a charming city.
If only more people had your outlook. I understand the whole “rude americans” thing is probably driving people away but i would hope that people would put that aside to visit. regardless.
Maybe I’ll start attending self-defense group, too. Save myself from your bullying.
I hardly classify my stating a fact as bullying.
I was a bunk counselor but I was in charge of soccer for the kids outside of bunk duties. I have plenty of them. Most I haven’t had time to post up onto facebook but I’ve got a couple left on my camera here. Thank you very much for the compliment.
Oh, yes, I forgot you played soccer. I believe I’ve read your name in the school paper once. If you wouldn’t mind me stealing you away from more unpacking, I would like to take a look at them. And you are very welcome, the difference between optimism and being overbearing is a thin line that you tread well.
Harvey Cavalier Summer Camp. It was both an arts camp but also with sports as well. New York is beautiful. We went into the City as well as a trip and it was a lot of fun. I try and stay positive about most things. I pride myself in being an optimist.
Ahh. What was your job? As a counselor? Or were you in charge of some of the sport teams? Do you have any pictures of New York? I would love to see them. Get a feel for what the City has to offer. That is a wonderful trait to have, Izzy, a hard one to uphold as well. You do it so gracefully.
It’s not easy living away from them, but it certainly has its perks.
You’re from France, correct? Busy. I worked at a summer camp in northern New York for the summer and I only got back yesterday. You could say I’m exhausted but my enthusiasm makes up for it.
I am, I highly suggest you visit if you are ever over there. New York? I have never been there, I feel like I have to go though, with how much some people speak of it. What was the camp that you were working at? Hmm, you are right. I would have not known that you were exhaustion with that big smile on your face.

That is why I enjoy living officially in another country. Any mail that goes home clearly does not constitute as important. How was your summer, by the way?
You are lucky you have that luxury. Not that I do not enjoy having my family here, though sometimes I would like to be able to do something without them inevitably hearing of it.
My summer was wonderful, thank you for asking. I did get to go back to Europe for some time and spend time with my brother. Otherwise I was around here and spent time with some friends who stayed. How was yours?
And what makes you think I was going to send your photo?
She takes plenty of me when I’m home and she likes to comment on my facebook photos as well.

I am! There were too many boxes and Oliver, my roommate, was getting in my way. I wanted to get a view of everything to send home.

I could’ve sworn Virginia told me to meet her at the Student Center, but I trust you more than a fellow freshman. No passing Augustine? Got it.
She could have, I do not know her after all but it makes more sense to me to meet up where the class is being held. I apologize if I unintentionally lead you astray. If that truly ends up the case I give you permission to publicly scold me the next time we cross paths.
Right. Okay. Look for neon, I’m capable of that. Honestly, I’m trying to get to Zumba and I can meet up with my roommate, so I really should be heading that way.
Hmm. In that case you would be trying to find Striker Arena. It is on the same street, 17th, to your left. It is on the corner of Pearl Street. If you have made it to Augustine you have gone too far.
This is true. You think I’d be paying more attention, though. Whatever. I guess my next question is to ask you where the Student Center is? I’m sensing I got turned around somewhere.
Oh, from here it is not far. We are on 18th court so take a left onto Ocean Park Blvd, a right onto 17th street and then follow that until you see the big building with the sign on the corner of 17th and Pico. You cannot miss it. There are bound to be students in neon around, the welcoming committee.
