“Well unfortunately I’m not some sort of wizard so I don’t really have anti-hangover potions lying around,” he rolled his eyes.
"No, but you do live in a town filled with them, so finding someone that sells or brews them shouldn't be difficult."
“Then perhaps someone to talk to?”
"I don’t really know what talking would do, you don’t happen to have any liquor lying around, do you?”
“Why would someone do this? She never did anything to anyone.”
"Because vampires don't usually care about that sort of thing, there's also the minor detail that she herself blew up a house with her inside."
“There is no way to change it.” he said bitterly. Death wasn’t something one could just undo and as much as he wished it was possible, he knew better than anyone that it just wasn’t how it worked. “I am not making excuses, I - I don’t know what I am doing. I don’t know what to do.”
"I'm aware, death by vampire happens to be an unfortunately common thing for us wolves, so to say I'm not a fan would be an understatement." It was true, Zane had never been a fan of vampires, there were some he tolerated and respected because they'd learned how to control themselves, but for the most part he despised them. "Perhaps you should get out of town before you hurt, or worse kill another innocent soul."
“Yeah, it did,” Harrison replied, still feeling awkward and Zane’s next question made it no easier, “I always wear them and always will until the person I’m sleeping with and I both agree that we don’t want to any more. But at that point, I think I’d like to be married. I would never claim that unless I was actually allergic. Which I’m not.”
"Loosen up a little, I know these aren't the ideal questions but we're both here because we care about my sister." Zane spoke honestly, because from where he was, it was easy to see that Harrison cared about her and he had no intentions of getting in the way. "I just want to make sure your genuine about where you're coming from, because quite frankly I'm tired of seeing people treat her like dirt. She deserves the best, and I have a feeling that if you two get your heads out of your asses and do something about it, you guys could make each other very happy. But that's good to hear, thank you for actually talking to me like a mature adult, most guys wouldn't do even that."

Cleo: Fight me.
Cleo: I'm disowning you.
Cleo: Asshole.
Cleo: omg, don't you dare.
Zane: I'll fight you.
Zane: Okay then, then you have absolutely no say in the things I do.
Zane: Love you too.
Zane: Can't stop, won't stop.
@phoebejtonkin - You are an animal Charles. #Hehe😁😁
“It’s not true. Tell me it’s not true?!”
"I can't, otherwise that'd be a lie."
“Here, drink some of this. You look like you could use some.”
“Thanks, but I’m not much of a tea drinker,” he admitted with a heavy sigh.
@adamgrindxlwald
“Let’s just leave it at– you’d be just as sour as me right now if you had as bad of a hangover as this.”
"I don't really get hangovers anymore, and I always make sure I have something to cure it if I plan on drinking that much."
“No,” The girl whispered, voice cracking. “No, I can’t leave, I don’t want to leave her. She can’t be gone, she can’t be gone.” Tears fell down her cheeks, the girl sobbing silently. As he lifted Ingrid, Sofia slowly rose to her feet, numbly walking besides him. “I don’t have a home anymore, my home was a person, and they’re gone now.”
"I'm not asking you to leave her," Zane reassured her, shaking his head slowly. "I just don't think this is the best or safest place to be." The words were quiet, but loud enough for Sofia to hear as they slowly made their way to the car and he helped the two into the back, figuring Sofia wouldn't want to leave the girl's side even in the car. "Your home is here," Zane then placed a hand over his heart before moving to the driver's seat.
“Oh, I would.”
"It's unfortunate that we're related then, because that'd make you the devil's sister and quite possibly a demon."
When Zane said that he would skip the boring stuff, Harrison was about to say okay but then the man went straight into the questions. His eyes widened, “Wh- No. I mean, yes. Yes, I have. But I haven’t had a whole lot of sexual activity this past year either. I’m not really the type for that.”
Sure, Zane believed the guy but that didn't mean he wouldn't continue to give him a hard time, it wasn't in his nature to go easy. "So, I'm assuming that it came back negative then? Excellent, what are your views on condoms? Just making sure you're not one of those guys that claim to be allergic."
Zane’s anger was admittedly scaring him but Hugo could only think of how much he was deserving of it. "I didn’t mean to do this.“ he said in an emotionless tone. It wasn’t an excuse, simply a way of salvaging whatever sanity he had left. It seemed he kept repeating these words so often to himself, to everyone around him that it simply didn’t mean anything anymore. It was just a way to fill the silence. He could say I didn’t mean to do this a million times, and say he was sorry all of eternity yet nothing would change, ever.
"You can say that as many times as you'd like to but that doesn't change the fact that you did do this." Zane's words were harsh, but he didn't regret them. He didn't know Hugo, but he did know Agnes and the family that Hugo left behind to mourn over someone much to young to die. "Unless you have some way to change what happened, and bring her back, I don't want to hear excuses."
