Ahh just to let you know, since it’s been a while since I was on here last and I never felt like I got my foundation 100% established anyway, I think I’m just going to start fresh with all my threads. If you have something from ages ago that you want to continue though just let me know and I’d be happy to do so^^ I’ll post a starter call and a plotting call for now though, and I’d love to talk ooc if anybody wants to!

ahh also I just went through and unfollwed blogs who were not following me to clean up my dash, but if you are following me and I unfollowed then that means I made a mistake!! I don’t think I unfollowed any mutuals but please let me know if I did because that was not my intent!! Also I’m not opposed to following these blogs again in the future, I just want to keep my dash mostly to mutuals^^ now onto going through my new follower notifs!

ahaha so um....sorry for that very long and unannounced hiatus?? I kinda got slammed with some very unexpected things in my personal life that packed a pretty good punch, but if you guys all still want to interact with me then I would be so happy to come back^^

Hinata looked less like he was inconvenienced and more like he was worriedabout the other boy - whatever he had been dreaming about just moments before must have been absolutely terrifying. He knew Komaeda harboured dark secrets about his past… Maybe he had dreamt about something involving his past? He didn’t want to be insensitive and inquire about it at just that moment, however. Maybe later. Yeah, later.

Right now, his priority was to make sure Komaeda felt better.

“H-hey, don’t worry about me - I’m not upset,” Hinata attempted to deescalate the other’s panic by speaking in a soft voice. They had both been watching a movie before Komaeda got too sleepy to continue through to the end, so Hinata had turned the channel to something else, not wanting to watch the ending if Komaeda couldn’t. The flashing of the television screen continued to envelope the both of them in soft, muted colours, contrasting greatly with the otherwise dark room they were currently in. No wonder Komaeda had a nightmare. That sort of flickering lighting would mess with anyone’s subconscious…

“Are you alright? Do you need anything…?”

“No no, of course not! It’s nothing,” Komaeda insisted hastily, almost cutting the end of the other boy’s sentence off. He planted his hands down on the sofa’s cushions, hoisting himself to a more upright position. He could still feel the sweat slicking his hairline wet. Great, now he would need another shower.

“I-I’m sorry for falling asleep,” he still insisted, wiping at his forehead and keeping his gaze down. “We were watching a movie. Did it end? I’m sorry, it’s not like me to drift off like that. I must have been more tired than I thought..”

He trailed off, his head somehow cloudy despite the panic that had previously been coursing through it. Tentatively, he looked up.

“I’m really fine. It’s stupid, anyway, for somebody to get so worked up over a dream. Though, I guess it’s fitting for someone like me to be guilty of such a thing.”

Seven Minutes - Accepting

#14: Unintentionally hurt the other

“A-Ahh…”

He’d meant to speak up before the door shut, sealing them in the cramped, darkened space together, but something within him had prevented his lips from parting. Nervousness, perhaps? That very well could have been the culprit, but if he’d been nervous before stepping into the closet then he might as well have been on the verge of a heart attack now.

“I’m so sorry, Hinata-kun,” he finally got out, hugging himself and cupping his elbows in his hands as if he could actually make himself smaller. “To be trapped in here with somebody like me for a full seven seconds…That must be absolute torture.”

He wasn’t sure if Hinata-kun intended to respond, but he felt his chest tighten, and he realized that somehow, he didn’t want him to. Being forced into such close proximity with each other alone had been enough to make his heartbeat jackhammer audibly in his chest - and sweating? He thought he might have been sweating - but the thought of receiving any type of response to his self-belittlement made his rib cage feel even tighter against his pulsing heart, as if somebody had pulled the strings on a corset as tight as they could go.

“D-Don’t say anything!” The words tumbled gracelessly from his lips before he’d even had the opportunity to think twice. “I-I mean, who am I to tell you not to speak? And I mean, it’s not like I was telling you not to speak at all. Ah, actually I suppose if that’s what you gathered then it’s not as if you would be wrong…or, more accurately, my words may have misled you? It’s not that you’re not allowed to talk! I could never bar you from doing so, it’s just–”

His string of barely coherent words broke off suddenly as he sucked in a gasp. He’d been attempting to back himself into the corner in order to give the other boy as much space as he could possibly need, but in some nervous confusion perhaps he’d misinterpreted the layout of the closet. After clumsily bashing his head against the shelves behind him, what could only be described as ambiguous objects began to crash down around him. Lucky as ever, Komaeda somehow made it out of the ordeal with a couple simple bumps, but he feared his poor, unfortunate partner in this game had fared much worse when a disconcerting crash struck his ears.

“Hinata-kun!” he yelped. “I…I’m so sorry, this is all my fault!”

His shoulders tense up, his knees growing weak. There was no way he’d heard those quiet, breathy words correctly.

“N-N-Nanami…san?” he stammered out clumsily. “I don’t think someone like me…could deserve…”

WHATEVER YOU DO,, DONOT think about how Komaeda was kidnapped and held for ransom moneywhen he was younger since his family was rich, but not only did nobody come to save him because his parents were already dead at this point and there was nobody else who was close enough to him to care,, but his captor also kept him in a gabage bag during that ordeal. You know, kind a like how he constantly refers to himself and everything about him as trash and garbage nonstop throughout every game he’s in???? HMMmmmm mmm!!!!
