Summer time feelings

The warm breeze wary of my glances

Walking along the crooked path

To the meadow where she dances

Her hair scatters in the wind like shattered glass

Her smile coils round her face like a viper ready to strike

Her laugh cuts the air and slices my ears

With its soft feather grass

With its luminously coloured flowers 

She sways like a wind chime made of blades

She has eyes the colour of a punch to the face

She sits amongst the flowers as a hawk on its perch
