The embroidery on the hijab that I created.

Originally I wanted to add words onto the hijab but when I finished embroidering the hijab onto it, I realised that it looked way better with out the words as I feel like simplicity looks better than over complicating it.

Began to dye some fabric using turmeric. I wanted the fabric to not look that bright yet not too dull.

Began to position all of the words.

I decided to paint the shelf to back the background. I then began to see how the words would look.

One of my tutors suggested that I add a shelf to put the vase on so that it can align with the paintings.

Finally put the paintings onto the wall. I fracked to add gold thread on two of the paintings as they give that unfinished look.
