Day 1: Lab Accident

I like to think about this prompt more metaphorically than it is, so I tried to capture the moment where Birkin finds out about G more, and his life divides it two. Birkin we (and Wesker) see is about to be reborn, leaving everything behind.

Lab accident is the start of new part of Birkin's life and the end of his relationship with Wesker.

After MANY trials and tribulations and an app crash where I lost multiple hours of work and had to redo the actuators from scratch, it's finished!! I think is the single most time consuming art piece I've done in years.

I've been thinking for a while about the fact that my Otto design really isn't distinct enough to count as "mine". Decided to put a bit of a spin on it.

The face claim is still Alfred Molina as Doc Ock, but the styling takes some more influence from the comics and the ultimate version. That, and the tattoos... those, I just designed for him because I thought they'd look sick. It took me over eight hours, but frankly I'm so proud of it that I'd get it inked on my own body lol.

I'd like to give a super-big shoutout to @hollowsart for her help designing his hair. I was totally stuck on it, and she really came in clutch with a paint over.
